Olive and June
In celebration of both the cuisine and culture of Southern Italy, all pastas are made in-house and every dish focuses on locally-sourced vegetables and meats. Olive and June's beverage program features Italian-inspired cocktails and also includes a diverse selection of Italian wine, Amari, and Grappa.
** Reservations are highly recommended. We kindly ask guests conclude their meal within two hours. Due to a industry-wide phenomenon of late cancellations and no-shows we now require a credit card to hold a table. No shows and day of reservations will be charged $10 per person. The restaurant stops taking food orders at 9:30pm and drink orders at 9:45pm.**

We really enjoyed the food and wine at Olive and June. Our server was fabulous as well! We will definitely come back.
The great: the ambiance is lovely and cozy. I would go back in the spring when it’s warmer to check out their patio. Nice wine list.
The not so great: When we ordered we let our server know that we would like to start with a cheese and meat plate, then salads, then have meatballs (which are technically an app there) as our entree. We wanted to course things out because we were on a date night without our kids and hoped to enjoy the restaurant for a while. No problem at all was the server’s response. Instead, the servers who ran food brought out the cheese plate and salads at the exact same time. When we expressed surprise about that they neither apologized nor tried to correct it. The salads were quite large and we were only halfway through them when the servers running the food also brought out meatballs. So then we had all three courses at nearly the same time which was exactly what we were trying to avoid. The server who took our order came over, saw all three courses on the table at once and said nothing at all about it. For a restaurant that nice and charging those prices, she should have at least said “oops, so sorry all the food came out all at once! Let me make this right.” or something similar.
Another not so great thing was that we ordered a cheese and meat plate because we love charcuterie. If I went back I would avoid this item. It had only one small piece of prosciutto and only one small piece of Brie. The rest of the plate was almonds, olives and some pickled vegetables. It was served with some bread that I think they baked and made crunchy solely to use up old bread. This was way overpriced for what we received and definitely should be renamed since it barely had meat or cheese.
The fine: our salads were lovely and large. The meatballs were good and well-portioned. Overall we would probably give them another chance in case this was just an off night.
Food was good but expected better from the reviews. The Fritto Misto was tempura style and cooked just right. Also the braised beef pappardelle was good and flavorful. The other entrees were just fine - nothing special. Was disappointed as we went for a special occasion and had hoped for better. The ambience is nice!
Food was very good in taste and quality. Service through. Inital portion was good but needed improvement at end. Tea was not refilled, water was once. At wnd, need for take out boxes took sometime to get servers attention and had to ask another for bag to hold containers.
Quiet, great ambiance on the patio, Boujee, creative food, fun to try something different. Staff was great. Desserts are fabulous.
Had not been in awhile and the food was excellent!
Some of the best food I’ve ever had. I’m obsessed with the sweet potato dish. The cocktails were great. Their daily specials were incredible and they really knew how to bring out some complex flavors.
If i went back I'd eat out side as its a very nice atmosphere. I recommend this place to anyone who likes Italian.
Food was surprisingly affordable for the ambience and the service.
Will be returning
Very great place to eat an Italian dinner. Great for special occasions as they will provide complimentary dessert.
Great service! Great food! Always appreciate it when the staff allows us to pace the meal to our desire. It allowed us to enjoy our celebration and visit to Austin! We sat on the patio comfortably on a chilly 40 degree evening! Well done!
First time there and it was a fantastic experience. Our server was outstanding and very knowledgeable. High recommend, especially for happy hour prices.
Delicious comfort food in a contemporary setting. Friendly waitstaff and perfectly timed delivery of all courses.
Food was awesome. It was not brought out in the correct order or good timing, so we had a table of 2nd course when 1st course came out and a FULL table when the main arrived. Literally no room for anything. Our drinks came out after the first round of food, which was 2nd course. The server was astounded and apologetic that it wasn’t correct. We were gracious and didn’t make a big deal of it, as it wasn’t a huge problem. Good experience overall, but they need to work on timing of courses and on bringing the correct food to the correct tables.
Waiters were very polite but service was slow and unprofessional. Food tasted like it had been sitting under the lamps for a long time. Way too expensive for the quality. Pros: Wine list was great, the space is cool, and it was quiet.
Always a wonderful place to eat. Food, service, and ambiance is always excellent!
Was great as always. Was celebrating our anniversary and was wonderful. Amazing food, drinks, and service!
April was the most amazing server!
Our 4th time there. Seasonal menu. Excellent service. Ask for Jarvis! The pork meatballs, kale Caesar salad, and mushroom bruschetta are amazing.
The place is very cozy, we spend the Xmas eve and all the people was super nice. The food was delicious, for sure we will return soon.
Family night out for holidays. Fantastic food and service.
Entire staff works like a well-lubricated machine. Jarvis was our server and he was great. Food was terrific. We keep coming back to this great restaurant.
Food is pricey compared with quality.
Ambience is good. Service is good.
First timer over here! Thanks for the great evening of good food and perfect ambiance. We will be back!
Great food and great service! This place is a little gem. Only con is they need to fix the music system. It was a little annoying.
Fab Happy Hour. Half price yummy cocktails and wonderful food. And service was spot on.
Excellent food and service. Great night out to an Austin classic. Love this restaurant!
loved the food. our waitress, April, was great also. will be going back
It was the perfect place to celebrate our 40th anniversary
Bland food, good drinks.
Service was so extremely slow
Food was great. Like many businesses they seemed a bit under-staffed. But the server was very nice and personable. All three of us were very satisfied with all our selections.
Delicious! Comfortable and great service. Enjoyed every dish and the atmosphere is cozy.
Our server was sweet and funny. the food, very excellent. Two of us split the steak, done rare and perfectly. Two of us got the pappardelle w braised beef. Like a stewed roast w brothy pasta. The broccoli was probably intended to be charred but didn’t have much other flavor than char (but removed from our bill so thank you). Sweet potato side dish was 💯.
First time back since before covid and unfortunately didn't find the entrées to be as good as previously. Risotto was more like porridge and the ravioli very oily. Loved the apertizer, dessert and drinks
This evening was perfect.
Our server April had so many tables, but never made us feel like it. She was amazing to talk through the menu with, gave honest and helpful suggestions, and had the perfect amount of checkins, top offs, and laughs with (and sometimes at) us!
And everything from the kitchen was delicious - mushroom bruschetta, Farro salad, pumpkin ravioli, shrimp linguine, and the perfect ending: bombolini with strawberry jam.
First time back since to Olive & June since 2019, and thankfully, the magic is still alive!
We loved the service and ambience and we had some very good food. However the red sauce on the pasta was mediocre and we didn't like the meatballs at all.
Every part of the experience was amazing.
Olive & June, is fantastic. Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful staff, wonderful food!
