Olive and June
In celebration of both the cuisine and culture of Southern Italy, all pastas are made in-house and every dish focuses on locally-sourced vegetables and meats. Olive and June's beverage program features Italian-inspired cocktails and also includes a diverse selection of Italian wine, Amari, and Grappa.
** Reservations are highly recommended. We kindly ask guests conclude their meal within two hours. Due to a industry-wide phenomenon of late cancellations and no-shows we now require a credit card to hold a table. No shows and day of reservations will be charged $10 per person. The restaurant stops taking food orders at 9:30pm and drink orders at 9:45pm.**

First time back since before covid and unfortunately didn't find the entrées to be as good as previously. Risotto was more like porridge and the ravioli very oily. Loved the apertizer, dessert and drinks
This evening was perfect.
Our server April had so many tables, but never made us feel like it. She was amazing to talk through the menu with, gave honest and helpful suggestions, and had the perfect amount of checkins, top offs, and laughs with (and sometimes at) us!
And everything from the kitchen was delicious - mushroom bruschetta, Farro salad, pumpkin ravioli, shrimp linguine, and the perfect ending: bombolini with strawberry jam.
First time back since to Olive & June since 2019, and thankfully, the magic is still alive!
We loved the service and ambience and we had some very good food. However the red sauce on the pasta was mediocre and we didn't like the meatballs at all.
Every part of the experience was amazing.
Olive & June, is fantastic. Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful staff, wonderful food!
Thoroughly enjoyed our date night at Olive and June. The food was fabulous and the waiter was very knowledgeable about wine pairings. The atmosphere is cozy. Perfect for an intimate dinner with friends or a special someone.
The food wasn’t great. The drinks were good. Our waitress was as sweet as could be. Nice ambiance and the valet parking was really nice to have. My rating was really based on the food flavor and freshness.
Good was amazing. Wish we were able to have a table outside.
A positively beautiful restaurant. I highly recommend sitting outdoors on the patio to see the sunset under the large oak tree. Slightly disappointed in the bucatini pasta. Appetizers and dessert were excellent.
Martini, Caesar, and ravioli earned the 3 stars.
The pasta was over cooked and mushy. The linguini dish had wide egg noodles. Soft and mushy. Meatballs very good, Braised beef good except for noodles. Service good. Very cold inside. Wore coat over lap the whole time.
Amazing as always! We are foodies, and absolutely love everything about Olive and June! This is one of our favorite restaurants in Austin!
There was a wedding when we were there so it might not be representative of a normal evening.. food was fantastic and service was awesome.. loved it will be back soon
The food, drinks and service are always top notch.
Our waitress was fantastic. She was very attentive and friendly. She continued to refill our waters and shared her favorite dishes. The food was great. Loved the snapper and pasta! Great place, we will go back.
The beef parpadelle was delicious, although it wasn't beautiful. So was the bread and butter/ricotta spread. The pumpkin risotto was pretty good, but again the presentation was a bit lacking. The farfalle/brussel salad and fried calamari/vegetables were both mediocre, quite overpriced for what they were. The patio was a wonderful atmosphere as usual.
We sat in the second floor dining area. Really no ambiance. I felt like we were in a diner. Food was good but not great. Our paparadelle was tasty but the noodles were stuck together. Just seemed very basic presentation.
Ask for downstairs or courtyard seating for sure.
Good experience-but the party upstairs was very loud and annoying.
Main course was great, had the braised beef and a few drinks.
However, our waiter didn’t show up for awhile and when ordering, had read back to us the appetizer we wanted, but brought out something else completely and had no recollection of the original appetizer ordered.
Amazing waitress. She was the scientist on CSI. Great food. We did family style share plates
Great service from Jarvis! Food ranged from scrumptious to good. Appetizers were fab and the braised beef pappardelle was really exceptional. We’ll be back!
The bucatini is to die for and the pappardelle was amazing. Seriously delicious pasta and stiff tasty drinks.
Fantastic food, drinks, and service! Must go for any occasion
Here for Happy hour / bday celebration and it was great . Would have loved outdoor seating better ( looked empty at top level but prob not open for staffing purpose ). Free valet parking is nice .
The food was incredible. Our server seemed unhappy to be there and wasn’t terribly kind or helpful. Everyone else seemed to be great so maybe he was just having a bad day. The pumpkin ravioli was exceptional and the patio is beautiful.
We haven't been to Olive and June's in years, so we were hoping for a fun return visit. The restaurant did not disappoint. We enjoyed happy hour drinks and shared two fabulous dishes.
Have the mushroom bruschetta. Unique and so good. Pappardelle was a little overcooked - make sure to ask for it al dente.
First time here and we had a great time and amazing dinner. Food was delicious and service top notch. Thanks.
Loved it! Great birthday celebration with my partner. Only wish they'd bring the farm egg back to the menu!
Individual dishes were under and over cooked. The lasagna was over salted and overcooked. The broccoli was undercooked and had not caramelized. The tomato sauce on the other pasta dish was overcooked and had a tomato paste consistency. None of the dishes were seasoned well. The prices were well above the quality of the dishes served. The service was excellent, with several servers in supervised training.
I think it's a common concern across Austin right now but it seems that Olive and June is severely understaffed. We were sat for an 8:00 pm reservation and waited 40 minutes to be acknowledged by our server beyond having waters dropped off. I made eye contact and flagged her down multiple times and she saw me and then turned to walk away, directly ignoring me. Right as we were about to leave she finally came up and apologized saying she had been slammed which makes the wait understandable but not her persistent avoidance of our table. She gave us a complementary cheese board which was underwhelming at best (literally only had one small portion of brie). While she was very nice and attentive moving forward and I can understand how being busy can really set you behind, I would not return. No one in the restaurant seemed to think we should be acknowledged and multiple other staff could have come over to explain the situation. The food was good but overpriced and the fact that our experience made it so poor makes me really not want to go back ever again, especially when Austin has an overflow of subpar overly priced Italian restaurants.
Wonderful food, service was excellent!
Great ambiance. The atmosphere is beautiful. Unfortunately the appetizers were quite heavy - fritto misto, and arancini very heavy and cheesy/doughy. The papardelle was soggy - expect more of an al dente style, this was overcooked... Very good wine and lovely scenery. Appreciate complimentary valet.
Recommend for a one-time visit for the ambiance, but if you love italian food, this is more of an american italian style place - and inquire about size/preparation style for orders.
Outstanding, as always. First time back since the onset of the pandemic for restaurant week supporting the Food Bank. So, its been well over a year. Olive and June never disappoints! Our favorite restaurant in Central Texas.
Service, food, atmosphere. All of it- Amazing!
I think our expectations were too high. That, and the fact that our go to Italian restaurant is Red Ash. Food was fine, ambiance was fine, service was great. Glad we tried it, but wouldn’t come back.
The food was decent. Not my favorite. The gelato was terrible.
It was great service our waitress was very helpful with the menu and wine selection.
The Sicilian appetizer was unexpected, fried cheese, mixto Frito and wine excellent
