Very nice older setting. Very diverse menu. great food. Good service.
This is my 3rd time in 4 weeks. Disappointed in food quality since my first time. On one occasion I ordered lettuce wraps. The lettuce leaves could not be used asa wrap. Instead I made it into salad. Borscht was good on one occasion but not on my last visit. No beets or cabbage in soup. They used sauerkraut. My Chilean sea bass excellent first time but soggy and half the portion. It tasted as if it was frozen.
The patio was clean and everyone followed Covid protocols. The food was delicious. The service was pleasant but a bit slow to begin with.
Food is excellent. We ordered the stuffed cabbage with perogi and the schnitzel. Both were very good. Service was spot on. We will definitely go back.
Our reservations were early on a Thursday. The dinning room is absolutely beautiful! The Hostess who seated us what a charm.. The service was nice we were in no hurry and she did ask us several times if we were ready to order. We all had a fish dinner which was awesome and plenty of it.. I had there signature drink Beet Martini (ok I had 2). Always a enjoyment..
The food was superb, and our waiter was excellent! We really enjoyed being on the beautiful patio and the space heater kept us warm. We also appreciated the manager checking in on us at least twice during our lunch.
The food and drinks were amazing. We'll definitely be back.
Great! Definitely will be back!
I brought a friend to Olesia's, she had never been there since it moved to Richfield. The food as always was excellent. The soup flight is a unique way to try their soups. I had my smoked salmon plate and took home the pork chops with extra sauerkraut and pierogis. Yum!!!
Very nice restaurant. Food was good. Service was good. It was nice to see the old Tavern of Richfield being put to good use.
We visited Olesia's Richfield Tavern for the first time on Sunday for brunch with family. What struck us the most is the staff... Each very friendly, willing to make our visit comfortable. So we came back on Monday with friends for dinner. Same great service, great staff. Thank you
Prices are good food was just ok. The beat salad was a little salty, Beef Stroganoff was very good but did not like the beef shredded. The deserts were the best!
Excellent place has a 2 great bars wonderful staff and beautiful dining room and court yard highly recommend
Amazing food. Fantastic owner. Olescia is pleasant and warming. Some of the best home made food we’ve had in town.
Olesia is an amazing chef. The good is outstanding. Service is lacking and has consistently over my past visits. Difficult to find workers so I understand.
It was so sweet of her to come say hello to the table and have a little conversation. Fantastic place and just beautiful inside.
This place had an amazing remodel, it’s gorgeous and cozy inside. We went for lunch and had great service and food. We plan to go back soon.
Beautiful atmosphere, Great friendly, enthusiastic service, and amazing food!
Outside patio was very nice. Like the menu-well balanced to include Eastern European dishes and selection of seafood/fish. The remodeling is impressive and well done. Good luck going forward. Looking forward to a return visit.
Olesia's was good as always. The new location is fantastic. The food was the same as always great.
Great venue and food!
Excellent social distancing and cleaning between customers. A very nice night out for our anniversary
Love the decor, varied menu, service and ambiance. Will definitely return especially when the patio is opened!
We have heard so many positive comments from our friends we had to give it a try. And we were not disappointed. Great service and an incredible menu. So many options which will definitely keep us coming back. Too cold for outside dining, however, we felt very comfortable inside. Next time we will try dinner at the bar!
Please give Olesia’s a try. You will be glad you did.
Went there especially for the pirogies and the had non! No chicken paprikash, no spatzels, no nothing! Not happy with them!
First time to the new Olesia's in Richfield. The patio is large and they do a good job in maintaining social distancing. The food was very good. The Pork Schnitzel was very large with a good sixe serving of mashed potatoes and red slaw. I could go for for more of the red slaw. Price was a little higher than I would like to pay for Lunch but the portion was dinner size. And besides, with Covid everything seems a little more expensive.
The pierigi's with crispy pork belly was good. Pork belly cold have been crispier, but it was a nice addition to the dish.
Made a reservation the same day for a dining room lunch @ 1:30 on a Monday with Open Table. We were waited on immediately and given time to study the eclectic menu for our 1st visit. My friend ordered the Chicken Paprikash soup which I will definitely order on my next visit. She had a very nice Smoked Salmon platter also. I shared one of her delicious deviled eggs. I very much enjoyed the Short Rib Sliders with a very nice Side Salad. The complimentary Bread with whipped garlic butter was awesome. The Old World decor is a welcome change from the all the chain restaurants and love the historic location. My neighbor was disappointed that the pierogies were not available for Monday's lunch as they were being made on site that afternoon. A less experienced server would have lost his patience with her complaints, but he handled her like a pro!
The manager came over to us when we were sitting on patio and asked if we were cold. He brought a heater over to make us comfortable. Amazing customer service, will definitely be back!
Very good ethic food and great culture! Highly recommend
It was my first time at Olesia and I found the food to be excellent. It was comfortable and COVID precautions we're good. Service was good and prices were relatively reasonable for the experience.
We had Olesias platter and it was good to very good but not outstanding. What was very good was the lobster crab bisque! Service started out good but went downhill quickly. Prices seemed a bit high. Will probably give it one more try for the American food.
No one but me observed the dress code "jacket preferred "
In fact there were flip flops and shorts
On a 55-60 degree evening they were seating guests on an unheated patio
They said their heaters had only arrived that day
Delicious ethnic food! I always have a hard time deciding what to order which is a great sign to me. This particular time we had to ask for our waters and bread after being told they were on the way. Otherwise service was great!
We ate on the patio for lunch splitting the brussel sprouts and chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was packed full and the salsa was delicious-a little sweet and vinegary! The brussel sprouts had good flavor with bacon but could have been cooked a little longer for my taste! Many good menu choices! I will definitely be back!
The food was delicious as usual. And our waitress was very friendly and helpful.
Alina did a great job of serving my two friends and I on the patio on a sultry afternoon. Always been a Lovely setting. The bees and flies tried to enjoy our food too, but we did our best to keep them at bay. The young man who brought our food did a great job too as we ordered apps and meals and he maneuvered the plates as best he could. Congratulations in a marvelous redo of one of our favorite places. Can’t wait to see the rest of the Taverne...
Food was outstanding and while we has a great server we were seated close to the place they, the servers, did some prep. We were within ear shot and I could hear a male server complain about everything from not getting his share of tables to the people at a particular table, I think it was #91, were taking for ever to leave. Again, our server was fantastic and so was the food.
We had a very pleasant experience there. Food was good and a wide variety of choices for main course.
Waitress forgot appetizer, wrong salad, spilled ice tea on my friend
