   Lovely restaurant. Menu is diverse and includes both European & American choices. Servings were generous and food was delicious. Prices were very reasonable for quality and quantity of food.

   Everyone was very pleasant and our food was delightful!! One minor complaint was I made a reservation but upon arrival we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. We enjoyed our dinner and our waitress was very nice!

   Had reservations and still waiting 20 min to be seated because no one approached me to help us then finally the hostess came back to sit us at the worst table in the restaurant next to the toilets and kitchen. She was having a very bad day. After being seated the waitress showed up 25 min later poured water and walked away. The food was ok but not great. We ordered wine never were asked to taste it. It seemed that customer service was not important to the owner.

   I made reservations for a party of 8 and were seated in the room to the left of the hostess station. Tim was our server. I have been there many times, both for lunch and dinner. I feel the food wasn't quite hot enough. It was obvious it had been sitting awhile under heat lights. It was tasty, but just not up to par with most of my meals in the past.

   Two people at our table had food allergies and generally bring their own food when dining out with friends. The waitress was knowledgeable enough to recognize that food allergies should be taken seriously and consulted the chef, so these two were able to enjoy the food served there. The food was artfully and tastily prepared.

    We go to Olesia’s all the time, love it. Went for Mother’s Day ‘23 and was surprised they had no specials and a limited selection from their normal dinner menu. We weren’t able to order what we had hoped and the picky eater of the group couldn’t even order the hamburger because they were sold out. Sold out of hamburger even? Overall still a good time but the limited options were disappointing and our waiter although mostly friendly seemed like he was ready to get us out after about 65 minutes past our reservation time.

    I love coming here. Have been here at least a dozen times, probably more! Superb atmosphere. They appeared a bit understaffed yesterday but understandably a lot of walk ins. Service was a bit slow. Would love them to show off their heritage more and play some amazing Ukrainian ballads and folk songs. This is our pride and I believe will be well received by all patrons.

    Excellent eating experience...from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken in less than 5 minutes. All five people in our party ordered something different and each meal (including appetizers) was served hot and tasted amazing. Server was very friendly and helpful...her suggestions were spot on, but honestly, everything tasted great! We will be back!!!

    We did a weekday lunch after a nice hike in the nearby Hinckley Reservation. The food was beautiful and delicious. One of us had the Pork Tenderloin Schnitzel which was huge! True to form our friend ate every bite! The service was great, Jason was friendly and attentive without hovering. Olesia's continues to be a favorite!

    We experienced terrible service from the minute we arrived. The hostess was a disorganized, overwhelmed teenager with no clue about customer service. It took a long time to get our table though we had a reservation and once we got to our table we had to wait a long time before being greeted by our server. Our server was impatient and rude. He asked me “what do you want to eat?”. I ordered a Diet Coke which tasted like poison. It was definitely not Diet Coke and the server was irritated when I asked for an ice tea instead. The bread was not warm or anything worth eating. The food was good but our date night was ruined by the lousy service so we left without ordering dessert and coffee. This used to be one of our favorite places to dine and we want it to succeed but it is clearly suffering from a lack of management, cut corners and poorly trained and managed staff. We will not be back and will not recommend it to our friends.

    We'd definitely recommend Olesia's. Wonderful selection of appetizers, drinks, main courses, & desserts. Something for everyone. Good service & creative atmosphere. Deviled eggs needed salt, but no salt on table. Also, amazing apple pie!

    Wonderful menu, great variety. Beef stroganoff was fantastic. Everyone raved about the food--short ribs, stroganoff, salmon, filet--all great. Best restaurant experience in a long time.

    11:00am reservation. Didn’t get our entrees until almost 12:30. Granted, we did ask for extra time the first time the server asked for our food orders, but overall service was very slow. Food was just “ok”. For the price of the food, I’d expect better. Entrées we’re weak and underwhelming. Most of us agreed that overall flavors were weak. My cheeseburger was decent but was well done when I ordered medium. Appetizers were the highlight from a taste and flavor standpoint but were overpriced. Good atmosphere overall but with these menu prices, be prepared to be let down slightly.

    We had to wait for almost 25 minutes for our reservation, and a table was never available. They sat us in the lower level, which was quite a bit noisier than we were expecting for our evening. We were extremely dissatisfied with Drew, our waiter, who only came to check on us when we waved him over. We were never asked if we wanted a second drink, and when we asked Drew why it took him so long, he replied “I needed some me time!” One out of our five meals was never brought to the table, and we had to ask what happened after most of us were finished. Besides taking it off of our bill, no other accommodations or apologies were given. The young girl who refilled waters was very attentive. Overall, this was a disappointing evening, and we all left feeling annoyed and wishing we had made plans elsewhere.

    It was our first time at Olesia's Taverne of Richfield. My wife and I enjoyed everything about the place. Nice friendly staff, good food and portion size. I especially like the decor / atmosphere. We would definitely go back, many more things I want to try.

    We’ve been here many times and have always enjoyed our dining experiences. This Saturday evening visit was a bit different. The restaurant was at full capacity, and service was almost nonexistent, then very slow at the beginning. Once the restaurant recovered from the large crowd, the service, bar and kitchen delivery improved overall. The outdoor dining was packed, and there was an event upstairs,so resources were stressed. Our meals from the kitchen, were not up to par to our past experiences. Borscht was thin and greasy, and our meals were served at just an acceptable temperature level. Tastes and presentation were very good. We will chalk it up to an off night, but the kitchen must monitor the quality before releasing meals to servers.
