This restaurant is a fantastic venue. Nothing like we’ve ever experience before. The cathedral ceilings and mural add to the ambiance. The food was impeccable from appetizers through dessert. Portions are generous. The wait staff couldn’t have been any more friendly. They catered to our every need. Pricing wasn’t expensive relative to the quality. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Perfect service provided by well-trained personnel, phenomenal food, per request they can make drinks tbat are not on the list. Keeping in mind the level of food and service the price level is very comfortable.

Service is great. Very attentive with few missteps. The food is sorely lacking. They were out of 2 items we tried to order, one of them we found out after the server took our order at 6pm on a Saturday. The rabbit liver pate was too salty, tasted mostly like smoke, and had a spicy pickled cabbage that did not work with the pate. The bearnaise sauce was actually a hollandaise (no tarragon at all), and a bland one at that. My steak was cooked perfectly, but looked beat up. The Iberico Pressa was excellent. The beverage program is excellent, and the Sommelier is knowledgeable and easy to talk to

Server was great and knowledgeable. Food not so much. Caesar salad overdressed and SALTY. I know the dressing has anchovies in it, and they are naturally salty. But too much dressing ruins it Dennis Kansas City steak had a weird taste, it was aged 45 days. Steak sauce was homemade was sweet and taste like ketchup mixed with something else. They didn’t say anything just sat this concoction on the table. I was expecting STEAK SAUCE. Loaded baked potato description did not mention sour cream. I had server bring a menu back to table. So imagine my surprise when I was in my potato. I abhor sour cream. My steak and lamb chops were good. The mint dressing and rice were horrible. Once again heavy hand MINT overpowered everything else. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN.

Saw pictures of the inside and was curious, went on the menue and instantly made reservations for our anniversary. My fiance and I thought it was amazing in and out. Our waiter Justin was the best and the food was just superb.

Steak should be easy to cook properly. I can do it, and I don’t cook, other than BBQ. My party ordered 4 steaks. 2 Medium Rare and 1 Well. All came out Medium. We ordered 3 sides that came out 5 minutes after the steaks. The Octopus appetizer was very good. The Server also gave grief about having to go downstairs to get the Scotch they did not have at the upstairs bar. Why is this the concern of the customer? I doubt I will return.

A work in progress. Not the same atmosphere as its predecessor, Marsha Brown’s, it’s just less fun. Menu is pedestrian steak, a concept done well by Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris, less well here. They are trying hard. Unfortunately for them, New Hope now has multiple high-end spots and the market may be over-saturated. Wine list is overpriced: our 65 dollar Riesling retails for 14 dollars.

Still as nice of an ambiance as when it was Marsha Brown and the service was excellent, but several items on the menu were not available, one steak was way overcooked despite of ordering it rear plus. They offered to replace it but we didn’t want to wait. It was also missing the Au’poivre sauce. When we asked for it they brought a nice sauce that tasted like lobster bisque but didn’t pair with steak. The pork chop was one of the best we ever had. Our waiter was really good.

Service was great, but food was lackluster. Great drink selection for those interested. The server was attentive, friendly, and timely. However, given the nice ambiance and beautiful interior decor I expected more from the taste and overall quality of the food. I have ordered oysters many times from many different places and this is the first time I was picking out tony pieces of shell from my mouth. Also, the lamb lollipops were salty. Nicely presented though.

It was our first visit to Oldstone and it was outstanding. We had a cocktail before dinner and the bartenders couldn't have been more gracious. Once we were seated for dinner, the graciousness continued - the wait staff was outstanding. I enjoyed a filet and it was perfectly cooked and delicious and my husband enjoyed the Halibut and it was the best he's ever had! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy such a lovely dining experience.
