Hands down the BEST steakhouse in DFW! They remodeled the restaurant recently and the ambience is so inviting! Brett was our server and he was great and attentive. The menu is very well curated and the charcuterie board that the chef put together was one of the most well thought out and delicious ones I have ever had! Delicous cheese and Foie Gras in a jar atop huckleberry jam, and rabbit pate. So great! Attention to detail at every level from the pouring the lobster bisque table side out of a hot pot to the branded steak knife’s brought out with their prime steaks! Will definitely be back when I want an all around great steak dinner!

Steaks were fantastic and our server Sylvia was a delightful professional. She worked ahead and anticipated all our needs.

I was a single diner on the evening I visited. I took a seat at the bar and had a wonderful meal with less fuss than a regular table. The bartender provided great drink and meal service. As an alternative to a steak I can recommend the Scallops. Service was great, can't wait to be back in Dallas for another meal here.

One of our favorite steakhouses. Always impeccable service and the food quality is top-notch which you expect for the price but you give what you pay for it’s worth it. looking forward to the next visit.

This restaurant is a true gem. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—every dish tastes like it was made with care. The drinks are just as impressive, with creative cocktails and a great wine selection. Friendly service and a warm atmosphere make the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Service was excellent as was the food (exception for the lobster bisque- it was just okay). Price is pretty steep, but it’s the best option on site for the Gaylord Texan.

We dined here for our anniversary and my husband wanted to surprise me with dinner at Old Hickory Steakhouse for months. We are locals and enjoy delicious food and love to enjoy our experiences. We were greeted by very friendly staff. Our waitress was professional and very nice. The Food was delicious. It is highly priced for the portions you get but that’s what you get if you fine dine especially at Gaylord. Overall we’d come back and I recommend visiting atleast once, if you are okay with spending for a special occasion. Only setback was we ordered a specific wine and they charged us for a more expensive bottle. We noticed a $45 difference due to a more expensive bottle we had not ordered. It was brought to our attention after we had already paid that there was a new wine they added with the same name and the waitress was not aware of it. I appreciate the manager and the waitress being honest about it but it Would’ve been a better experience if they offered something or removed. Atleast discount for the difference we were over charged. Instead we got an “I’m sorry” and that it was their mistake. We paid for it anyway because we didn’t want to complain or make it a big deal. We have dined in many high end quality restaurants. If there is ever a mistake, they immediately make it right. This was not the case at Hickory, unfortunately. We will be back, but we’ll be sure to double check everything before we consume or pay for it. 😅

I’ve been to many very nice steakhouses, but Old Hickory is a notch above. Debbie was our server and she was awesome!
