Has high expectations, but was met with the worse food. I’m so sorry! I really wanted it to be good, but it wasn’t. Steak with subpar at best, spinach had zero seasoning and it was supposed to have cheese- it didn’t melt. Just cold spinach. Mac and cheese was so hard and cold. Chewed it for minutes! Staff was friendly and accommodating! Even offered us more food after we said we didn’t like it. We don’t want more from this establishment. High hopes! Beautiful hotel! Friendly staff. Bad food!

For a new restaurant everything was outstanding. Busy so service was a little slow but they were still very attentive. Menu interesting and varied. Thoroughly enjoyed. Just a little loud with their choice of music.

Way overpriced, not worth it. Lame 'Parker House' Rolls, same as grocery store. Asked for Well-done Duck, looked Rare. $95 Lobster Tail was not cleaned 1st. Nothing special about mashed potatoes. Server not very attentive. Sad, expected better experience.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday with friends. We had a wonderful evening with amazing food. My wife and I shared the 32oz aged Tomahawk steak and it was exceptional. We ordered the mashed potatoes, the cream spinach and the mac and cheese as our side dishes. This will be my new “go to” steakhouse.

We arrived at 7:28 for our 7:30 reservation. The hostess asked if we would have a seat in the bar and they would seat us “closer to our reservation time”. We also requested that we sit as close to the window as possible so we could watch the sunset. After we ordered a drink from the bar the hostess proceeded to bring us into the dining room, walked us right past a 4 top next to the window and put us along the back wall. She the. Proceeded to seat another couple at that table while I was trying to get someone’s attention so we could move to the table we desired. Then we learned they had no iced tea (maybe because they were just opened a few weeks prior), so we gave them a pass on that. Then learned ALL their steaks were dry aged, not just the once mention on the menu. When food arrived our server was overwhelmed with other tables and was never able to order any more drinks throughout the dinner. She did come by as we were finishing and asked if we wanted to order more wine, but the meal was completely done by that point. The food was descent, but the seating thing threw me off from the jump and had me in a bad mood. Then no tea and no ability to have wine with our meal. Our server was pleasant, and the ambiance was ok. I did think there was a dress code, but families in there with sleeveless shirts, shorts, flip flops, etc. not as high-end as expected.

We were quite disappointed with our dining experience. The noise level was so loud that you felt like you were eating in a cafeteria. The food was overpriced, and you're charged for everything such as bread for your table or bérnaise sauce for your steak. The only bright spot was walking around the convention center which you can do for free, so save your money and skip eating at Old Hickory Steak House.
