Great service. Wonderful food. Unassuming. I wanted to try it after finding out that O’Kims was nominated for the James Beardsley Culinary Award. I was not disappointed. Everything that I like and appreciate were checked. Unassuming, unlike some recipients that make like it’s an honor to spend money at their restaurant and while the food looks great on a magazine, you leave hungry. O’Kims food was delicious and filling. The service was outstanding, as someone is always checking up on your needs. Left well and full, yet cost didn’t empty my pockets. I’m coming back and I’ll be bringing friends. Thank you for bringing back the experience of the good ole’ days of dining out.

Food - perfection! The vegetables are all so vibrant (no wilted ones) and meat is always tender. Service-just right attention and accommodating. Love O’Kims!

O’Kims is, indeed, a gem… it’s away from the main Waikiki Beach mayhem and closer in to Chinatown, but well worth the long walk or short Uber to get there. It’s a bit deceiving when you get there… definitely try and get seating on the back patio. The food was outstanding; service was top notch; and the whole experience was fantastic (if you want a bit of wine or beer with your meal, it’s BYOB with a small corkage fee… again, well worth it). Will definitely put O’Kims on our must-do dinner venue list if/when we make it back to O’ahu.

Excellent food & great personal service. The Bibimbab Stone Pot was awesome. The Elote ice cream is a very unique dessert and really good. Ask to sit in the lanai area in back, fresh air and better atmosphere than inside.

We finally had the chance to revisit O’Kim’s today, it’s been way too long since I last had lunch. Last order was during the pandemic when O’Kim’s was take-out only. Started with appetizers Watercress, shrimp & green onion pancake & truffle mandoo; entrees served were Bibimbap in the stoneware, miso eggplant w/multigrain rice and a special chicken soup w/mandoo. All entrees were delicious!!

The food was really yummy but it is on the pricey side for Korean food. Kimchi was delicious! The ambiance was nice. We were seated outside so it’s a nice lunch spot. Servers were nice and friendly and food came out pretty quick. Overall great spot to eat!

They have Vegan options so we had the truffle dumplings, eggplant entree and the garbanzo bean curry! The meat eaters had the pork belly entree and the salmon special. We all enjoyed our food.
