The service was poor and the selection of fish wasn't good. Overall, for the price there are much better options.

Food is hit or miss - some things very good, some just so so, several dishes had good components but didn't work together - seems like they are trying too hard. But on service, they are not trying at all - our waiter knew nothing about the dishes or the wine (which is a short, weak list so shouldn't be that hard to master) and things took forever to come out of the kitchen despite the restaurant being 80% empty at 7:15 on a Saturday night. This was my second and last visit to this place - too many good options in Houston to waste my time here.

The sashimi at OKA is outstanding and a good value. Service is attentive without being intrusive. A little hidden gem obscured by the frantic atmosphere at Caracol next door. Sashimi lovers need to try this place!

Awful food, way too expensive for quality. Tried too hard to be creative and falls flat. Rolled rib eye with mushed avacato was disgusting. Will not return. No wonder it was empty

I had the grilled salmon Bento Box and thought that the vegetables that were served with it were over cooked and not that great . I think that they could have served better vegetables. They had too much sauce or oil and over cooked. Fewer vegetables and just a better variety would be better. Also the salmon was either wild , or just too fishy tasting. It doesn't say if it is wild salmon though. There was plenty of food though the fried rice looked a whole lot better and I wish I had asked them to substitute that instead of the white steamed rice. I would return.

First time at Oka and we had lunch on a Saturday a little after noonish. My wife ordered sparkling water and I ordered a lychee martini that was on the menu. Waiter came back and said they were out of sparkling water and they could not make a mixed drink since the manager had not arrived to work yet. Strange concept to me and not a happy start for our dining experience. Overall, food was really good and my wife and I will be back for sure.
