    I picked this spot for an anniversary dinner. The ambience was great, the aesthetic was very nice, the food was delicious and the wait staff were amazing. Our server Justin was very quick and knowledgeable of the menu, offering personal recommendations. Please try this place out! It is so worth it and you will have a great time.

    Second time we were there. Everything including the craft cocktails were fabulous. Authentic and the flavors all melded beautifully. Going back again…and again.

    This was the first time to eat at Oh Calcutta. We started with yummy lavender lemon drop martinis. The mussels were an excellent appetizer, a great recommendation by our server. We followed with lamb chops, saag paneer and naan, of course! Everything was delicious and well-prepared. We were already planning what to order next time!

    We had lunch there early afternoon and it was very pleasnt. I had the blackened bass and it was ver good, nice and spicy.

    Having seen several adverts for this restaurant we decided to give it a try. On a Saturday evening in downtown Winston-Salem finding street parking is not easy so parked in the public garage across the road and had a short walk to the restaurant. The staff we came into contact with were very pleasant and efficient. This is not your typical Indian restaurant and we have no problem with that. The menu offers traditional fare and in addition dishes that offer a more modern slant on the cuisine and we all enjoyed our meals. No complaints here at all and we will very likely be back to try some of the other dishes we liked the look of.

    I loved my black bass dish and the gumbo. But I would of loved to have had some Papadum bread with chutneys to start my meal. Many Indian restaurants give this complimentary with your meal. I will prefer to go to the other restaurant that offers the chutneys and bread. Its so much worth it.

    We've enjoyed every meal we have eaten at Oh' Calcutta! The team working there from front of the house to the back of the house are top notch! The blackberry sour cocktail was outstanding. We'll be back!
