Offshore is a bright and airy rooftop bar open year-round on the third floor at the East end of Navy Pier. With collapsable floor to ceiling windows you get sweeping views of Lake Michigan and Chicago’s city skyline. Our globally inspired menu features items from coast to coast that include light to substantial fares.

Outdoor seating is not guaranteed! It is on a first come first served basis.
21 years of age and older after 9pm daily.
The last reservation is one hour before closing.

Beautiful location atop the far end of Navy Pier. We had fish and chips, salmon, and prosciutto and arugula flatbread. The food was perfectly fine, but you go for the great views of the city and lake.

This was a first visit on a busy Sunday. Seated at a table near the open door to fully appreciate the lake view and breeze. Our lovely server, Lauren E was attentive and efficient. All the supporting staff were excellent too. We were very pleased with the hamburger and fish and chips. Prices are high but the venue is unique and arguably gives the best views of Chicago’s magnificent lake front. Lots of parties celebrating and having fun so the noise level is high. Just eat delicious food and enjoy the scenery!

In spite of us having made a reservation, they gave us a table 45 minutes later than our scheduled time. The noise was crazy Loud, we couldn’t even hear ourselves talk. The door was open so inside the restaurant was cold. The only positive aspect was the food being delicious. Other than that, we had a pretty bad experience.

I had made a reservation to have dinner with my graduate & her two friends, but before that I had called to inquire if this was an open rooftop where we can come up & take pictures of the beautiful view have some cocktails outdoor, they said yes the outdoor was first come first serve, and reservation was only required if you were going to eat or sit on the inside tables. Well to my surprise this was not the case. My sister had came up to congratulate the graduate mind you this was already after we had dinner etc. and the manager/hostess was extremely rude asking if she had a reservation telling her she couldn’t stand around my reserved table. I mentioned to him what was mentioned to me about this being open to the public & he didn’t seem to care. In all honesty made me feel super uncomfortable luckily for us we just left and enjoyed the pier & fireworks. The bad energy started by our server having us wait 30min after we had been seated to even ask if we wanted anything to drink (no it was not busy at my reservation time) another server took out table & he was excellent!! Shout out to Ethan our server that kept my table vibes up even after the manager/hostess was being rude!

Decent place, but for my reservation, the roof deck was closed, which is the primary reason I booked. We decided to leave, and then, of course, I lost out on the $25 I paid for parking. The restaurant should have called me to inform me that the rooftop was closed.

The restaurant is nice, but I didn’t care for the food. It was extremely cold out and we got seated by the open door so I was freezing cold. I did like how we, the host came and let us know they had fireworks. That was really nice
