Officina [oh · fee · she · nah], or “workshop,” is an Italian-inspired culinary collective from Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Michelin-star Masseria, Philotimo, and the newly opened Le Clou. Officina seeks to bring the very best of Italian gastronomy to Washington, D.C., and is an ode to Stefanelli’s travels, training, and distinctly Italian-American upbringing.

We look forward to welcoming you for unique experiences that capture the essence of Italy. From sunset cocktails atop our Terrazza or a weekday lunch in our Cafe.

The restaurant should be closed until renovations are done to remediate their mold problem. About half way through dinner we looked up and all over the ceiling above the tables on the 2nd floor was mold. Also, they had a portable AC unit in their wine room just pumping the exhaust into the dining room. It is supposed to be vented outside. The food was okay. Apps were actually pretty good but the one pasta dish and the chicken parm were not good. The chicken parm was greasy, dry, and barely had any sauce. The service for the most part was good but wouldn’t matter if it was excellent with food that isn’t great and eating under moldy ceilings. I do not recommend going here.

The food was good. However they messed up an allergy accomodation that we alerted them off multiple times. It was a simpe accomodation that luckily was not too serious, however they did not know how serious it was, they just knew it was an allergy. We received a half-sincere apology and that was all. A little upsetting that a nice restraunt would not be more careful with this or atleast be more apologetic when a mistake happens.

Absolutely horrible. Deceptive bait and switch practices targeting the LGBTQ+ community. A $50 Pride pre-pay to the hold the table, at the end magically turns into an event fee. When discussed with the manager, no offer to make it right. No mention of how this fee is supporting LGBTQ charities. Purely a cash grab at the expense of marginalized communities. SHAMEFUL!

Drag Brunch was so much fun! Definitely recommend it. The welcome cocktail was great, and so were the other Pride themed cocktails. Good service, OK food.

I do not usually leave 3 star reviews. The service here was on par with TGIFridays. Our drink orders came out incorrect. The restaurant was 1/2 full at 7:00 on a Friday night. There are a lot of better choices out there.

I visited this restaurant for a drag brunch performance, and it was a sold-out show that was energetic and a lot of fun. However, I had some issues during my experience. First, the music before the show was so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk. Additionally, the service was quite slow. When I inquired whether the rosé was still or sparkling, the server said it was sparkling. However, when she brought my glass of rosé, I realized it was actually still rosé, I immediately returned it. On the menu, the French toast is described as coming with vanilla ice cream. When my dish arrived, the toast was soggy from the melting ice cream directly on top of it. I only managed to eat the corners and ended up leaving more than half of the food untouched. Unfortunately, the server never checked in on how we were enjoying our food. She later returned to ask if we wanted another round of Bloody Marys, but I chose not to order another one because the drink tasted like Campbell's tomato soup. The highlight of my brunch experience was definitely the martini I ordered. While the drag performance was fantastic, the food quality and service left much to be desired.

Food was not that great! It was just ok! I had chicken parm and wish it was paired with pasta. It was on the salty side. 2 dishes our table did not like or eat.
