Visited last Sunday and wanted it to be good. It wasnt!
They had one waitress serving all the tables so service was bad.
A family let their children run around the restaurant and nobody from the restauant told them to control their children so they don't bother the other tables.
The food wasn't good. We tried several different items and they were not great. For the price, I expected the food to be better.
Last thing is I ordered a beer and it came out in a regular glass. I ordered a second and it came out in a small tulip glass. I asked about the difference and the waitress said the first glass was a mistake and I just got lucky.
Food was amazing service was great and very authentic place
Overall a good experience. Service was a bit slow but everyone is short staffed so it's understandable. Food was excellent, the fried chicken was crisp and flavourful. Out of about half the beers on tap but still enough options to satisfy. Between the music and the Overall noise from the other tables it was a bit hard to hear across the table but that's to be expected. I will definitely be dining there again.
Great vibe with good food and drink!
Enjoyed Southern cooking at Off The Rails!!
Food was good, selection very fun service was excellent!!
our server was excellent and the food amazing. I love the live music
Fantastic Overall! Food was great, drinks too!! Get the scallops and the crab cakes they were delish!!
The food was amazing as well as the bartender. I think there was only one waitress on so once she took it order we didn't really see her again till the end of it meal. We probably would have stayed and had drinks after dinner if given the chance.
Was looking for a brunch spot to meet my friend. Since I’m not from the area, googled brunch on the Yelp app & Off the Rails popped up. Made reservations on the Opentable app without knowing much about the place 😅
While there, we learned they’re a fairly new spot & we were there for their first day of brunch! Food was great, service was great! Will definitely be a place I check out again, when in Worcester.
Amazing food and service, live music was an added bonus!!! Already planning our return visit!
This was a very good find; we were looking for something different and this was worth the visit
Excellent food, great service.
Service was excellent. Especially since it was packed at the time. Good and drink was delicious. Nice spin on some old favorites. Definitely a slot we would hit again while in Worcester.
Off the Rails is a great new spot in Worcester, right near the DCU Center, with a Nashville theme and vibe. We had a great table near the open window - almost like eating outside. The service was great, the selection of beer on tap was impressive and local (and you can get a flight of 4 to try a variety!) .
The restaurant does a great job labeling and offering gluten-free options. However, our big disappointment is that they fry everything in peanut oil so members of our family with peanut allergies were not able to try several of the awesome things on the menu. Our group sampled shrimp and grits, the jam burger and fried chicken and all were very good.
The staff is great, the food is amazing, an overall great place. My new favorite go-to restaurant in Worcester!
Went for the live music. Was not disappointed!
Excellent night. Service. Food. Drinks. Music. Loved it
A little expensive for what you get but okay. Food was good.
Food was okay, nothing special. Prices high for portion size on some items. Getting to the restrooms we basically had to squeeze past tables and just about rub against people dining. Biggest problem was the temperature of the room we were in. Thermostat near us said 81 degrees!! Server made aware and said it was always hot in there. We couldn’t wait to leave….probably won’t return as there are so many better options in Woo
*However, the live music was great
Seating was in a loud crowded area, won't make that mistake again. Server was pretty clueless explaining items on the menu. Food was very good.
What a GREAT FIND!!!! Southern flair food with a modern twist!!! The collard greens were RIGHTEOUS! We ordered BBQ pork and it was perfect! Not too smoky, tender and delicious, we had the Pimento cheese appetizer that comes with warm pretzel pieces..... mmmm fabulous!!! Next time we are trying the Fried Chicken! Chef Ricks cooking will make your “Tongue come out yor mouth and slap yor brains to death” !!! Southern for that food was good!!
Understaffed! Had to ask for silverware and plates after being served food.
Noisy, difficult to talk to each other.
Food, eh. Value quite poor, pricey for small portions,
I won’t return
The food, drinks, service and music were great! Had a wonderful time and would go back again!
Overall pretty good.
We went on Friday night and the place was busy. Waitstaff were overwhelmed, which slowed service down a bit.
Food was good, not great. The band was good and that led to a great atmosphere.
The only quirk was that the men’s room only allowed on patron at a time. This was odd, since they have a bar area and two dining areas (lots of customers). Maybe I missed another men’s room?
I would consider going back for the entertainment and beer. Food ok, but would not be the main attraction.
Noise level too high and service of food and drink was slow but friendly. Table was too small for party of four.
Really cool place adorned with neat Guitars and Music related items.
You definitely do not feel like your in Worcester. Great atmosphere and waitress was very attentive. Will definitely be back.
The musicians (guitar/vocal duo) that was booked in the small downstairs room were very good. Perfect music to eat by, and perfect volume (not too loud).
Burger/fries were decent, but a great value when half-off on the Tuesday that I went.
Fried Pickle Chips were excellent.
Beer was cold and a good selection of local craft beers on tap.
I'd go again without hesitation.
Excellent all-around. We don’t drink so I can’t speak to those prices but what we did get was more than reasonable. They were fan-freakin-tastic!
Great staff who support each other to serve customers.
Excellent on all counts and can’t wait to go back!
The food was over cooked and I thought the price is too high.
Bring an appetite! The presentation is as good as the food you are about to eat.
The staff are warm and friendly and the service is exceptional. A must, do not
leave without having the chocolate drizzled bourbon bread pudding!
Very happy with our first experience at Off the Rails…food was delish.
Such a fun place to hang out. Great atmosphere, service, food and music! Loved it. We will definitely back with more friends! Can’t wait for the back patio area to be completed!
This restaurant had menu options we’ve never seen in Worcester.
We tried a bunch of the small plates and they were amazing. We loved that the simulcast the live music throughout the restaurant. Can’t wait for the project to be finished!!
Great place, however it seems like the staff are less focused on service and addressing requests in a timely manner, I hope that as they grow and open the Beer Garden that the staff will be more available for requests and such.
We understand this restaurant has not been open very long. Food was just fair ….fried chicken very over cooked, Po Boy bread was stale, steak had no flavor and smash burger was just a regular cheeseburger. Bourbon asked for”neat” was put over ice and then put back in glass ….very watered down. Pimento cheese dip was so over cooked it separated. Our server was pleasant but didn’t know what bourbons you carried. We enjoyed the live music. Again, we understand the restaurant hasn’t been open very long and staff learning. We will come back again !!
The Buttermilk Herb Chicken with the creamy corn & coleslaw was good, although, the coleslaw could use some more vinaigrette and/or mayonnaise.
The chicken sandwich was very disappointing, looked like chicken nuggets on a Texas toast with too little sauce.
The drinks were alright. Looked beautiful, tasted decent.
The venue is gorgeous, especially compared to what used to be here before. Love the ambience and the live music. Great location.
Will probably be back!
Only complaint is that my fried chicken sandwich was chicken tenders. I know they ran out of chicken for the meal. I assume that’s the same chicken for the sandwich. It was good but not what I expected and would of chose differently if I knew before hand. Other wise, music atmosphere and service was stellar. We had Kenzie and she was wonderful
