Ocho was so cute and the food was delicious! I highly recommend this place!!! 1. The queso flameado was soooo good. Order extra tortillas (they are mini taco size). It was $15. 2. The brunch menu included the carnitas ocho and it was so filling and so delicious. The tostosnes were amazing as well. It was $18. 3. I had a super yummy cocktail called the “Time Will Tell” I believe, and it was lavender and so pretty. So delicious and refreshing. It was $17. 4. Parking is free and available directly at the hotel so you don’t have to park at a garage to eat here which is sooo convenient. Just follow your GPS directly to the restaurant. So good and worth every penny! Can’t wait to come back with my husband. This was the perfect girls brunch spot and it was close to some of our other favorite rooftop bars, so we were able to walk over after our brunch here.

The server was nice and efficient. The food was awful. Chilaquiles looked & tasted like they were leftovers from yesterday. Low quality on food for the price. The plantains were super dry and hard. I would not go back. I’m a foodie. I try all restaurants and compared to the fresh food at moons daughters that we had on Sunday— wow! There it was fresh & delicious. In closing— know that the description of the entrees versus the reservations required to dine at Ocho, and the online menu do not match the promotion on the chef and quality of food advertised. Thumbs down.

The entrance to the restaurant is super cool! We had 7:30pm reservations; the restaurant was pretty slow, so we were allowed to choose our table. Sat for almost 10 minutes before we were greeted. Ordered the melted cheese appetizer, the pork chops, and the ribeye. Fried yucca aside (it was fried to smithereens, but the juice from the steak softened a few), the food was simply divine. Thank God, because I would have been extremely upset and not just annoyed. There were only 3 tables in the main dining area and we all had the ‘why is the service so slow?!’ look. I understand it was a slow Thursday, but goodness guys, you kind of ruined our experience.

Disappointed with the service and food quality for the price. The bartender called out from behind the bar with a “sit where you want” and the waiter was not welcoming or attentive. No one smiled or offered a “Welcome to Ocho!” 🫤 Although the location is great (on the riverwalk), I won’t plan another visit.
