   We have been dining at Oceans for over 20 years. This restaurant is a precious diamond in the crown of Palm Springs! The food is absolutely delicious. Always prepared beautifully and the service was wonderful as well. My favorite dishes are the sand dabs and Royalemgr salad. The prawns are huge and succulent and the grilled octopus was done perfectly! We ventured out into the Paella territory for the first time and this saffron spiced dish was full of wonderful muscles, clams and sausage as well as grilled chicken and shrimp…delicious. The dessert… (a complimentary Birthday surprise) slice of rich creamy chocolate cake was incredible. Always the best martinis in town! If I could give more than 5 stars I’d do it!

   Small restaurant but BIG on flavor and fresh fish selections. Fresh fish specials the night we dined ranged from delicious simply prepared sea bass, grilled octopus, fresh oysters from the James River VA. All were wonderful. Staff was attentive. Great evening

   Really enjoyed the food and was nice to sit next to the tropical fish tank! We both had sea bass and everything was really tasty! The table next to us was really noisy! Would go back if we are in the area!

   A hidden gem. Excellent seafood. Although the restaurant touts its Mediterranean presentations, I had my fish to blackened, and my spouse had a pasta dish. Both were excellent. Recommend!

    This is our favorite seafood restaurant in the entire Coachella Valley. The owner & staff are friendly & efficient. They also have a number of excellent non-seafood especially veal. If you haven’t been there you owe it to yourself to give them a try.

    Our first time to Oceans … and definitely will not be our last! We were greeted warmly when we arrived. Service throughout our time there was warm and comfortable. The fresh seafood options were many and every one of our dishes were excellently prepared and simply delicious. Oceans is a real gem and a must try for anyone visiting the greater Palm Springs area.

    In the desert for the Spring and couldn’t get a reservation for weeks. Finally one opened up and I’m so glad we went. Definitely our best restaurant meal of 2023. The sauces were clearly homemade and the fish and seafood was exquisitely fresh. Can’t wait to go back … if I can get another reservation some day lol

    We have dined regularly at Oceans since 2012. It has never disappointed, but I do believe this past evening tops all other occasions. Although busy, the wait staff, chef, and owner all made a trip to our table to welcome us back. The service was exceptional, as usual, with Nino amazing us with his ability to remember every item and every requested exception without ever a mistake. The food quality and presentation is always very pleasing, but last evening it seemed even above the norm. The fried oysters are like no others, while the octopus entre exceeded all expectations. I would strongly recommend this venue to anyone looking for exceptional seafood, steak, or rack of lamb.

    Absolutely the best seafood restaurant in the Palms Springs area (it's in Cathedral City, just east of the Palm Springs city limits). It is a Mediterranean style seafood restaurant at its location for 28 years. The core staff have been there for over 20 years, even the busboy! Service was well-timed and friendly; the food was excellent, as was the presentation. The desert menu makes it difficult to say no.

    Was there for almost two hours and most of that time was waiting for service. Seems to be only one to two servers for the entire restaurant. Food was hit and miss. The salmon was cooked perfectly but the prawns were so overcooked that they were super chewy. You must love garlic to eat here.

    Overall, not great. The food was OKAY but pricey and not exceptional. The bread tasted like store bought. The mixed green salad was standard-like a cafe salad with blue cheese thrown on top. My Lobster Penne was tiny bits of lobster smooshed around in the bowl of penne-for $35 I expect large pieces of lobster and better overall presentation. My partner had the Lobster Ravioli and the same situation. Sloppy presentation and expensive. The decor of the place needs help. Faded pink table cloths from the 90's could be easily swapped out for white table cloths and overall the interior needs refreshing. I say skip it.

    My husband's favorite is the sea bass. Cooked to perfection with a tomato topping. My shrimp and scallop scampi was superb. The seafood was large with a good chew. The pasta was al dente in a light garlic butter sauce. We shared a lemoncello Gelato is light with a bright citrus flavor. One of our favorites not far from Palm Springs and Palm Desert.
