Grilled rockfish, grilled shrimp, seared scallops, crab stuffed shrimp, grilled asparagus and dirty rice
New England Clam Chowder
This restaurant is beautiful inside. The Caribbean Snapper, pan seared, with lemon butter is very good. Also, they have good choices with cocktails.
One of the best places I’ve ever been. If in the area I will be back. I recommend everyone go here.
Forget "casual elegance" as a dress code. Baseball caps, shorts, ripped jeans, flip flops, and tee shirts with comments seem to be the dress code.
Room temperature overcooked shrimp cocktail, very small piece of swordfish maybe 4 oz.
At least the Caesar Salad was decent.
Service was excellent. Too bad the kitchen wasn't.
$200 wasted on 2 people.
My husband and I ate at Oceanaire once about 8 years ago and have been wanting to come back ever since. The ambiance (lighting and noise level especially) was very nice!
A good meal on Intl Dr. A bit rushed. Monk fish was very good.Key lime pie was very good. A solid 4.
Celebrated a friend’s birthday and this was the highlight to an otherwise lackluster vacation. This restaurant was amazing in every aspect and I look forward to returning.
1st valet parking was not organized. The food was not great . Steak was burn and the amount you pay you don’t receive enough food . We without to eat afterward
Excellent, Excellent!! Thanks to our host Richard for giving us outstanding service and recommendations on drink and food. We'll be back and I'll like Richard to be there again for us!!
The food was good but we were seated in the back of the restaurant with noisy, unruly children and I felt some kind of way. It appeared to be the “black section of the restaurant “. Our waitress was ok but I could tell she was a bit annoyed kind of; dang, I’m being punished with these low tipping people and a table full of rambunctious kids with complaining black women. The family complaining loudly ( after they eat the food) was so embarrassing!! However, we enjoyed our meal and tipped her well( we always tip well). Can’t judge a book by the cover. This is just my opinion of our evening.
Service was outstanding. Their attention to detail was impressive.
The food, on the other hand was underwhelming to say the least. I had the deep fried whole fish red snapper. Presentation was great. Taste.. not so much. It was so dry that I had the wait staff get me some extra sauce, and still it was way too dry to eat. For a 42 dollar dish it was disappointing.
Overpriced and better quality at most seafood chains. Wouldn’t recommend
The waitress we had was put off because we complained about the lemonade. She did like that we asked for another lemonade and never came back to check on us. But came back often to check on the white couples and patrons
Great server; drinks were good. I had the whole yellow tail snapper; It could have had more seasoning.
Service was exceptional but the food was fantastic. Would absolutely return again.
Overall, the food was very good and Rachel our server was as well. I was surprised to be served my cocktail in a chopped glass, and although the restaurant was very busy, we were often looking for someone to refill water and or other items. I understand and can accommodate in busy situations, but I do expect a high end restaurant like Oceanaire to be better with service.
We had a wonderful dining experience. Rachel was outstanding with not only meal recommendations but some great tips about the city to help us. Food was wonderful. Highly recommend the seafood grill and want to go back and try the yellowtail snapper. It looked incredible.
Amazing Service! Also amazing all that we tried. The crab cakes were great full of crab meat and the scallops are a must to try. My Husband had the Filet Mignon perfectly cooked medium and I had the Maine Lobster very fresh. Our server was Melony and she was not short of fantastic! Also something I haven't seen in years was the Hot towels prior to the main dish and after my lobster. The little things very much do count. Would definetly return.
Honestly I would not eat here again. Before our food even arrived hair was found in one of our glasses of water, the hair was only found while drinking… Entrees do not come with a side. For $30+ I expect more than a piece of fish on my plate. Once the food arrived we were not impressed. The seasoning was lacking across the board. We ordered lobster fried rice as our sides. The rice was over cooked and sticky. Our waiter was fine and the ambiance is great but for an almost $300 check for a party of 4 I expected the food to be some of the best I’ve tasted and it was lacking. We left wishing we had chosen anywhere else to eat for our last night in town.
Here in Orlando for a conference. This was a wonderful place to have dinner. The seafood was fresh and delicious!
The food was not good for the price point. We waited a really long time to get our dinner - my entree was room temperature - very disappointing. We chose a bottle of Moscato to go with our meal- the waitress brings us a substitution- it was a bottle with a twist off-so right there tells you is a cheap wine- we were charged 47.00 for it - you can buy it for 12.00 retail- so the restaurant probably paid 5.00 for it. Our bill was 325.00 before tip for the 4 of us- not worth it. The waitress was attentive early on but she was hard to get as the evening continued -what’s the status of our dinner- couldn’t get her attention to ask.
Unfortunately, I needed to return overcooked fish and received then raw food. Portions were small.Customer service was lacking.
Capital Grill is right next door which hits all the right notes- portions are ample/ large that match the price/ service impeccable and ambience.
I ordered a $90 lobster and it didn’t not come how I ordered it. The manager Roger was very rude and disrespectful to me
And asked “Why did you eat it then” he even argued and raised his voice to us at the table and ruined the whole experience. Normally has “nice” restaurants the manager are calm and respectful and try to fix any issues especially because my bill alone was $190. He could’ve offered even half off or a small gift card for next time but instead he was rude and ruined our night. He should be fired!! The way he acts shows he is not happy with his life or his work and he should not be in the customer service industry. Please retire already Roger!!! Would not recommend this place … horrible experience and it made me want to cry and he embarrassed me and my friend.
Great experience for our anniversary! My husband dropped me off, so he had to run through the rain … they had small towels ready at the door, and their attentiveness continued from there. Excellent service, inviting and intimate atmosphere. Key lime pie to die for!!
BEST seafood in Orlando with extremely knowledgeable staff! We went twice while in Orlando.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Oceanaire yesterday. The Iceberg Wedge salad was generous enough to share. Our entrees, the Chicken Fried Lobster and the Whole Snapper, were unique and quite delicious.
Making the experience especially nice was the knowledge and attention provided by our serving team of Anne and Rich.
This was a well deserved 5 star experience and we will be back when next in Orlando.
Beautiful experience and great food with excellent service. No complaints.
Great meal experience and service was exemplary.
Wasn’t impressed at all… service was terrible, food was awful.. all around just terrible ..
Awesome food. Great service.
Best crab cake we have had in a long time. More crab than breading so definitely get your money’s worth. Each of us tried a different fish and had Corvina, swordfish and scallops and all were cooked to perfection. Always trying something new the lobster fried rice was definitely interesting and surprisingly worked together. Can’t end the meal without the presentation of the Baked Alaska. Our server was great. They need another bartender because the one tonight was swamped but still was doing his best to get the drinks out. Next time in Orlando I will be going here again.
Wonderful experience and very delightful service from Rachel. The food was delicious!
Very good seafood. We’re New Englanders so we are used to excellent seafood. Dinner was fresh and prepared well. Our waiter Roosevelt was attentive snd knowledgeable.
Excellent food and service as always!
The food was amazing. The staff was super nice. Would come here again.
The waiter we had was awesome the food was OK and the restaurant was a little worn
The food was amazing. The service was amazing. Everything about it was amazing!
PEI oysters were excellent, as was the calamari. All of the seafood ordered was fresh and enjoyable. Our waiter was extremely personable and even our grandkids had a good time who would rather stay home and eat pizza. This is not an inexpensive restaurant but if you want absolutely quality seafood, go to Oceanaire. It is my favorite place to go when in Orlando.
