   Our server came across as rude and judgmental. The food is mediocre for the price. You can smell seafood as soon as you walk in which is what you expect from a seafood market, not an upscale restaurant. We had the shellfish tower. I was served a bad oyster. While the manager rectified the situation and was very professional, the chef said he smelled it and it seemed fine to him, it just came from “deeper in the ocean”. I have had 100s of oysters and the chef is either incompetent or a liar. At least the drinks and bread were good.

   I decided to celebrate my 50th birthday at Oceanaire and it was absolutely amazing. The food (filet, crab legs, crab cakes and especially the hash browns) all cooked perfectly and so tasty. But the best part of the evening was the service from the bartenders (Lauren & Riley) they are absolutely incredible. Great service, great personality and great cocktails. We will be going back just to see them on our next visit. And finally a big thank you to the manager Ann, she is an absolutely wonderful and classy person. She made sure everything went smoothly and we enjoyed our conversation with her. So a huge thank you to Lauren, Riley and Ann and the entire staff for making our evening special

   The staff was exceptional, very warm, inviting, & dedicated to service. In particular, Matthew, our server was extraordinaire! He was extremely customer focused & aimed to please. It was his demeanor that sealed the deal for us & warrants a return the next time we are in the area. Kudos to Matthew! The food was very good! We had the crabcakes, lobster bisque, chicken fried lobster, and lobster Mac’n Cheese, with a Dark Chocolate dessert. Everything was delicious and the potion sizes were hefty! Overall, the experience was wonderful! We appreciated them validating our parking as well. We highly recommend The Oceanaire for any special occasion as we were celebrating our anniversary. They truly made us feel celebrated!

   We were in town for SAP SAPPHIRE and had the opportunity to eat at Oceanaire. As always it was amazing. But our waiter (Matt) was above and beyond GREAT! His amazing smile set our evening off to the perfect start. His customer service and attention to detail was beyond EXCEPTIONAL. We did share our good experience with the onsite manager. So if you get a chance to dine at Oceanaire, ask for Matt.

   Service was great (but salads were forgotten). Food was ok.. their chef special fish was rubbery..side dishes were mediocre. Drinks were good.

   The food was great. We tried the octopus, Cesar salat and grilled Sea bass. Everything was perfectly cooked. The cocktails are good as well.

    Overall, just ok. The whole grouper and scallops were great. The pasta was prepared wrong and upon return it simply lacked any flavor. That said, it was ordered specifically to limit the spice level (no Calabrian Chiles). Another entree was the New York ordered medium-rare. The steak was seasoned perfect and came out at a perfect medium-rare. The problem was that it was incredibly tough. So tough that 1/3 of it was thrown out. Not even the provided steak knife could get through it without a lot of effort. I did not mention this to anybody since we already had our pasta re-flashed. My guess is that the steak wasn’t prime (I didn’t see it raw), but rather a low quality choice, perhaps even select. Caesar salad was excellent, octopus with yucca was good. The lobster-mac had a good combination of cheeses, but needed a little salt or parm/reg upon finishing. Fried rice was good. Service was great and attentive to our dietary needs, just a little disappointed that there were so many individual errors (some bigger than others), at an establishment like this.
