We have gone to Oceanaire for special occasions for years. They still have top notch service and the best seafood in the area.
Great place to celebrate our special event.
Very fresh seafood prepared well. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful.
We sat outside and it was a pleasant night. We had safety in place with minimal contact with people. The service was responsive and the food was absolutely delicious!
Had the clam chowder, scallops, lobster tail, shrimp, crab legs, sweet corn risotto, and baked Alaska. Everything was fantastic! Service was impeccable, my boyfriend ordered a special side and they were accommodating without issue, and did not over charge for the item. Raspberry sangria was also great. Definitely would return.
Our waiter was amazing, friendly, and funny. We had the fresh oysters and they were outstanding. The best we can get in the whole state. Will always be a favorite.
Wish more people would go out and enjoy restaurants like this. Great staff! Delicious food.
Absolutely loved this restaurant! I would, without a doubt, recommend the chicken fried lobster and the crab cakes!
Doug is the best server!!!
Meal and server were top notch. Value is expensive, but this is an exclusive restaurant. Highly recommend for special occasion.
Best service ever
Very pricey for smallish portions, but tasty.
As always OceanAire did not disappoint... My fiance and I were out for my b-day as has become the custom for us both. Our waitperson from January remembered us and a manager "Billy" remembered us from our visits going back over a year. The food was transcendent "as-to-be-expected" especially our "Crab Boil" which was a new experience there. In addition the Crab Cakes were out of this world and the Baked Alaska was dynamite too. Our waitperson for this installment did a great job of making us feel special. We absolutely recommend the overall value of time spent, it is expensive but, well worth it if you want a top notch dining engagement.
Girlfriend birthday celebration. We all had a beautiful time. A bartender was phenomenal, friendly, professional, and funny. The manager was courteous and friendly made us all feel welcome.
Great restaurant... Amazing food... probably the best dining place in Minneapolis
The service and food were outstanding. Social distancing was tastefully observed.
Best crab cakes west of D.C.
The food was great, the waitress was so good, and we enjoyed everything about our evening! Nice wine list too!
We were a bit worried about going out to eat on one of the first open nights. The outside tables were spaced and our waiter was very efficient, had on gloves and mask. We ordered seared Tuna and grilled Salmon, chopped salad. All were delicious. Thanks for being open.
Would love to have your fish tacos somewhere on the menu!
wonderful food as always, great place to eat indoors as restaurants are first opening during the pandemic, felt very clean and safe, the food was fabulous, wonderful service
As always, a tremendous experience. Great to be back and see all our favorite servers!
A sure thing every time. Consistently good food, service and atmosphere.
The ambiance was wonderful, our food was very well prepared and delicious. Our server knew the menu and very prompt. We enjoyed our night out, the host whom seated us was a brother Vet and our conversation was extremely enjoyable. Upon our arrival, we were immediately greeted and welcomed. I will definitely recommend to our friends to eat here.
As always the service along with the food was excellent.
The atmosphere was nice--understated and a little dark, but with some bright accents. The service was very good. Nat was our waiter and he was knowledgable about the menu and answered our questions well. The pace of the meal was good except at the end when it took a while to cash out. The food was very good. We had poke ($17), mussels($18) and the grilled octopus($24) for appetizers. The presentation and taste were all excellent. We had two entrees--the scallops and the cod, both done "Louis" style. Both were also very good but at $58 and $48 respectively, a little high priced. We also had the glazed beets($12) as a side, also good. We had one drink--a peanut butter whiskey based cocktail that was actually very good and at $14 reasonably priced. With tax and tip, the meal for two came to $250.00. It is obvious the the food is made with care and is well done. We will be back, but next time, probably stick with just the appetizers--the three we had were all very good and quite large--practically big enough to be an entree--and if 2 people ordered 4 apps, that would make a great meal indeed. Oh, and we were there for a BDay celebration and the menu had a personalized BDay wish printed on it--a very nice touch.
We had an 8:00 reservation, entrees not served until 9:45. They gave us a discount, but for this price level, not acceptable.
Amazing experience and night out. While quite expensive, the atmosphere and service alone well warrant the price.
Great food and service. A good selection of menu items to choose from with very tempting chef specials listed. The noise level was a little loud for my senior ears but the vibe of the room was fun.
