Great service. Menu was explained very well and gave us some great options when deciding for dinner. Went as a date night with husband, he had never been before. We had oyster and crab cakes as appetizers. Then had the cedar smoked faroe salmon which was served with the fire roasted cedar plank! Smelled wonderful! Husband had the halibut with risotto and tomatoes and spinach. Evening was great, quiet atmosphere for a date. Price is high but we expected that being it’s a fresh seafood restaurant. Overall good dinner! Will be back. Also, the executive chef and sous chef are currently both WOMEN.

Up on entering the restaurant , I was greeted to the restaurant by Mr. The service at the table was very good. The entree was a lobster stir fry with the shell included. My recommendation is to not include the shell. The dipping sauce offered was a little to spicy.

We dined here last year for Thanksgiving, and it was superb. This year, not so much. The service and ambiance, of course, were terrific. But, the quality of the food was disappointing. The "simply" prepared salmon was just that - and very good. The lobster mac-n-cheese was runny; the crabcakes were cool; the wedge salads were heavy on the dressing; the mushrooms were overly sauced; the wine/cocktail suggestions weren't great; but the key lime pie was good enough to bring it home. So was it an off day in the kitchen? Did the food stay on the warming counter too long? Did they not have enough servers? Everyone has an off day.

Evidently the place has lost some to the people that knows how to debone a Branzino. They destroyed the fish before bringing to the table. They need a whole more light to be able to even read the menu.

Restaurant out of food choices, 45min wait for food. Waiter told us a chef quit. Valet closed before we left. We were locked out of the restaurant and had to wave down someone inside to help us get our keys. We had to walk to find our car. It was simply terrible and our clients might leave as loyal customers because of what you did.

As usual a wide variety of fresh seafood, appetizers and wines are available, all made better by the great decor, and of course Rick's great service. A very professional staff made for a great beginning to our evening downtown.

Outstanding food; waitress was short with us and inattentive. Never brought the bread we requested. Wonderful ambiance otherwise. Hope for a better experience next time. First visit since the pandemic, but we have been there many times and it is a downtown fixture.

New Waiter Understandably, good help is hard to find everywhere. But when dining at a five star establishment, the wait stand should be properly trained. We ordered the whole dover sole. The new waiter struggled with fileting the fish. While he struggled, the fish got cold. The meal was not good at all.

Business dinner with 10-12 guests. Oceanaire food/staff/accommodations did not disappoint. When many are entertaining guests at steak houses, Oceanaire provides a mix of great steak/meat entrees while also making this Florida boy feel at home with what came off as an amazing list of seafood options that tasted as if they were right off the boat. Two nights here during a week long conference and I’m truly happy I made that decision. My go-to when traveling to Indianapolis

I have dined here many times and always had good experiences. This time they really let me down. My waiter showed no knowledge of the menu and seemed to be uninterested in general. Our appetizers were delivered in a timely manner. We then waited 40 minutes for our entrees. The kitchen must have had them sitting there for quite a while. They were cold and poorly cooked at that.

Only negative was that it was so dark, we all had to use our flashlights in order to read the menu. Service was great as our server recognized this was a business dinner and helped to keep things under control by asking about more drinks, dessert, etc before just offering to the table in a discrete way. Much appreciated.
