   The place looks great and the food seemed as thought it would be great. Fish was overcooked, as were the vegetables. The restaurant is extremely expensive and the quality of the food wasn’t commensurate. This may have been an off night, we were visiting from out of town. That said the service was attentive and cheerful.

   The food is always amazing. The service was not up to par this time around. We have been a couple times when we are in town. The water was never empty which I appreciate. However our server Patrick was too busy to focus on the party of two when there were larger parties needing his attention. The music was loud for a Sunday evening dinner. And it didn’t help that a speaker was right above our table. Since our server took our order and never stopped by until we flagged him down, we couldn’t request for it to be lowered. He gave us a soda free and offered a free desert for his absence. We would go back? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️ YES, since we love the food!

   First of all, I am a huge fan of Landry restaurants so this was unfortunately a let down we don't normally experience with this brand. Our waitress was Natalie and she really failed at making this an enjoyable experience. We ordered a bottle of wine, salads, oysters, and then a meal. I ordered the filet and crab cake and my steak was overcooked. I would have let Natalie fix the issue but she never came to check to see if we needed anything or ask how the food was. She only came back asking if we wanted to order a dessert after we were done eating. When she dropped off the check, she just said, "Here you go." I would have expected a warm goodbye or maybe an apology about her being busy or some reason as to why she never came back. Too say the least, it was not a great experience.

   Second time Indy 500 Weekend! We had such a nice experience on the Friday night before the 500, we came back the night after the race for a farewell dinner before flying home on Memorial Day. The Swordfish with risotto was fabulous, as was the halibut. Our waiter, Matteo is suck a nice guy and very on top of it for my spouse's peculiar food sensitivities. Their barrel-aged Manhattan on a big rock was the perfect compliment to the steak-like consistency of the swordfish. Awesome. Wish they still had a location in Denver.

   We did enjoy our experience. But unfortunately the restaurant decided to put us in the back of the restaurant against a wall where the Aircondining vents were located. It’s was FREEZING. To the point all of us just wanted to leave asap. The staff did put towels and menus over the vents but it was all too late. Our server had way to many tables to wait on so it would take a long time to receive anything. Was quite disappointed as I booked this table months in advance and thought they could have organised it better.

   We had an amazing business dinner there. There were so many great options we basically made it family style. Highlights were the swordfish dynamite style, chicken fried lobster and crab cakes.

    I was told that the food was good, however, I was very disappointed with Oceanaire. The service was too slow. The food was not seasoned well. We had to send food back because it was overcooked. I was surprised that there were no shrimp entrees other than Shrimp and Grits. I would not recommend your restaurant for seafood.

    We ate here for Mother's Day with a party of seven people. The drinks, appetizers and location of table was great, but it was loud and hard to understand our waitress. We placed our order and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get the rest of our food. Our waitress disappeared and when someone came by for water refills he said he would not be able to help with our drink request because he was not our server. No manager ever came by and when our food did come out, it did not come out together (my son had to wait another 15 minutes for french toast) and my steak was well done instead of medium. My daughter-n-law waited 45 minutes for a mimosa and had to ask multiple times. We ordered dessert (wish we had not) because it was cold and took another 30 minutes to get it. The bill was wrong three times and I had to circle on it, what was ours. It was like the receipt was combined with other customer's orders. For a very expensive restaurant and it being mother's day I was hoping for something great. Not to get there at 1pm and not leave until 4:15pm. Kind of ruined the day.

    Went for graduation celebration. Brandon, our server, was excellent. Drinks were creative and reasonably priced. The octopus appetizer was outstanding. We ordered halibut, sea bass, tuna, and filet. All were well-prepared and very tasty. No need for extra toppings, as seasoning was excellent. Sides were good (whipped potatoes and hash brown ala Oceanaire) and we were presented with a congratulatory Baked Alaska for graduation which was really good. Would come back again.

    Our waiter Patrick was amazing! He was so personable and friendly with us. It was great food and he had great suggestions for us on what to get. We really appreciated him and his kindness to us. He made sure our food was given to us in a timely manner so that we didn't have courses overlap which we really appreciated. We had been there a couple of times when we felt rushed and food was brought out not in courses but seem hurried. So I wanted to make sure that both Patrick and you knew how much we appreciated his service to us! It was so good that we even had tried to book the next night and they were already booked until later than we could go. That was how much his service influenced us on coming back.     Our waiter was in the weeds the entire night. I bring customers to dinner here every year during FDIC and have for years. This was by far the worst service ever. Drink were slow or nonexistent (20 minutes for one person to get his first drink). Screwed up our appetizer order. I basically had to tell him it was time to take our order. The list goes on but you get the picture. Not the service I have come to expect from this establishment.

    We have been going here 15+ years. Used to be really great and wonderful experience. Always a little pricey but used to enjoy the experience, service and food used to be exquisite. Used to get Pickled Herring, relish Tray and bread complimentary. They cut the pickled herring years back. Now, bread & relish tray you have to order as an appetizer. I understand inflation but prices have increased +20-30% in just a few years plus they cut out the bread? We always get 1/2 dozen Oysters on the half shell. This time they were fishy, not fresh. In fact I became ill later that night and think these were rancid. We ordered Brussels sprouts; used to be tender w/sweet glaze (yummy). These were horrible, burnt outside and raw in the middle- no flavor; so hard you could not eat them. The fish dishes used to be wonderful and well prepared with great presentation. What we got for $70/plate I can get almost anywhere for half the price. It was ok but not what you would expect at these prices. Also, the portions were about 25% decrease from what they used to be. Oceanaire used to be a great experience, great food, and great service. That is what you paid for. They have gone overboard to destroy any experience, the food was mediocre at best, and even counting in inflation, way overpriced for what you get now (two people $300+). It's not the money, its that you do not get what you pay for. No ambiance, poor quality food, just ok service, and nickel & dime you. I am sure the corporate has mandated and chopped to maximize profits to the point they ruined it. This used to be a hard place to get in without reservations + a week in advance. When I made reservations it was easy and I noticed the restaurant about 30-50% full on a Saturday. I guess a lot of people now feel the same as we did. It's too bad, we really liked the place but will not be back.

    Prices at the Oceanaire have skyrocketed in recent years. A single filet of fish goes anywhere from $45-80! Outrageous! Can't get out of there with a simple meal for less than $200. Not for couples looking for a reasonably costing dinner/night out.

    Multiple service issues in multiple tables, the place is definitely struggling even with tables opened. Both my wife and I have the same experience in the bathroom having to look at nasty stuff stuck to the walls while you do your business. Please pay attention to details.     Three of our party of seven had the Halibut. Without question the worst prepared Halibut I've ever had. Very dry, overcooked and flavorless. I had to use a knife to cut my fish and then it would crumble into small slivers of dry flakes. Also had it topped Oscar style. Again, very little flavor and very little crab and hollandaise. I have eaten at this location before and it was good, but I brought a small business group here on Saturday and was very disappointed.

    We were rushed. And the fish was cooked way too much. Seabass cheeks should be more delicate than regular feedback and it was tough. Two others had the halibut and it was cooked too much as well. Music was way too loud it just was not a good experience. Very disappointed.

    We travel over from Champaign, Illinois about once every two months of so just so we can experience the wonderful atmosphere which is Oceanaire! The food is fantastic and we always ask for Jose who is incredible!! He makes the dinner very relaxing and an awesome experience!

    Excellent seafood as usual. I like the fact that you can order one of the fish selections ala carte (even with your choice of preparation & sauces - or you can order it with the Chef's (often unique) method of preparation.
