Oceanaire Seafood Room - Dallas
Maine Sea Scallops
Shells & Cheese
smoked gouda & applewood bacon
parmesan crusted with blue cheese-tomato fondue
The Oceanaire is a nice place for dinner. My only caution is they are not able to offer a full menu at this time (understandable). Our service, while good, was a quite slow for the amount of diners at the time.
I had made my reservation through the OpenTable online service and received a confirmation email. The restaurant had no record of it.
Quality restaurant with excellent menu choices even with a limited menu after just reopening. Food was excellent but pricey.
Very accommodating and service was top notch as usual
The food was okay. They need to update their decor it felt outdated. Service was good
2nd trip to Oceanaire Seafood Room and loved it as much as the first. The Crab Cakes are amazing. Do not leave without trying the Lobster Mac & Cheese. My wife tried the pan-seared Swordfish which she liked very much. A bit pricey, but worth the $ and time. Highly recommend
As always, the food and service as what you would expect!
Thank you to the team that waited on my wife and I, we appreciate you.
It was amazing as always! Everything was perfect, from the service to the drinks and food.
Love the ambiance and the service is always wonderful. One of the best places in the DFW area for seafood.
Celebrated my birthday.
Crab cakes were awesome! First night out during co-vid and restaurant was on top on social distance and sanitizing. A+. Appetizer took 30 minutes. Main entrees were quicker but smallest king crab legs and shrimp. It was our 25th Anniversary and indicated anniversary in reservation but no mention made. Leaving we heard descriptive conversations of menu, specials, new offering that we hadn’t heard. Tables had bread and butter that was never offered to us. We came in right at opening so I understand “getting back to normal” but was disappointed. Will try again, and I am looking for a better experience in the future.....
I had the fried lobster which I had never even heard of. My husband had the scallops and they were fantastic. All in all everything we ate there was a 10!
I really love Oceanaire. I didn’t know of this wonderful restaurant until last week. Guess good things to come out of bad situations.
We took my mother for Mothers Day and she enjoyed everything. The host team seated us right away and our server and support team were attentive. We were never rushed. Our meal and drinks were outstanding and delicious. I will definitely go back for special occasions.
We went in tonight to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was perfect. From the manager who answered my questions over the phone today to the bartenders who really ramped you the mood and then the server who was just the picture of professional and fun.
Thank you guys so much for tonight :)
Even at 25%, gloves and masks, we had a lovely night out! Oysters and a martini ~ great service and the rest of our dinner was delicious! Fresh fish ~ and they did the dishes! Can’t wait to return to normal ~ 100%. Empty tables deserve patrons!
Food was good. There was a water spill on the floor where I almost tripped. I told one of the waitress that walked by he just said okay and never bothered to clean it. That could’ve been a serious hazard issue but I just left it alone.
The dinner and service was wonderful. The restaurant has gone to great measure to make patrons feel safe and have an enjoyable experience. We had a really good time and meal!!!!!
Food and service was great!
Another visit before Corona isolation... food was good, although I think the blue cheese used in the "Black and Bleu" fish was too strong - it overwhelmed the dish. I've had that numerous times before when it was nicely balanced. Nice wine selection and side dishes, very attentive service.
Excellent service, very good food, and the personal recognition is a very nice touch.
The food was good but not great. I had a grill combo that had lobster, scallops, shrimp, and asparagus. We also had calamari, Caesar salad & wedge salad, cream corn, truffle whipped potatoes, creme brulee, and a cappuccino. My wife had king crab. What wasn't so good - calamari What was good - lobster, scallops, shrimp, asparagus, and salads. What was great - cream corn, truffle whipped potatoes, creme brulee, and cappuccino.
On top of the food - which was good, but not great for the most part... And at this price point it should be great. The biggest let down was pretty slow service. We had to ask several times for several things, and it took time for anything to happen. Our server was friendly so no real complaints about his personality, but it just seemed like the attentiveness was missing or maybe he had too many tables.
Meal was awesome. Chicken fried lobster was great. Highly recommend to everyone!!
The Oceanaire made a wonderful experience for my father’s 93td birthday dinner! He loved it and the Baked Alaska topped it off for an enjoyable and delicious dinner!!!
Great ambiance and quiet, which is much appreciated!!
Birthday. Service is always excellent.
One of my favorite seafood Restaurants in the Dallas and Minneapolis areas.
The food was great. The service could have been better. The waiter seem very impatient and unfriendly.
This is one of my FAVORITE restaurant to eat and bring my wife and my staff. Last night we had a really BAD SERVICE. Please keep the same service as used to be
Thomas was an awesome waiter. Food was delicious!
It was my first time dinning at Oceanaire Seafood and we loved it. From the time I made our reservation everyone was very professional and the food was great and very reasonably priced. I had a party of 8 and this was the general consciences of everyone who attended.
Outstanding service from Fozie!
We enjoyed oysters, mussels, shrimp ‘n grits Florentine
Grouper and crab cake. All were very fresh and most delicious!!
Awesome food! Our server, Nathan, did an outstanding job.
Food was very good. See ratings for other aspects of visit.
The food doesn’t seem to be as good as it use to be. Service was arrogant and not accommodating.
As always, Oceanaire was an occasion: the food, service and atmosphere were all lovely.
Took the kids and wife out for fresh oysters, quality fish and good conversation.
Our food was cold. We sent it back and it was still cold the second time. Including deep fried lemon (rind included) with $18 fried calamari appetizer is strange and just a way to filll the platter with cheap ingredients. Incredibly overpriced. Would NOT recommend!!!
Very noisy. Our order was either lost or got behind a large group that came in after us, leading to very long wait for main course. Waiter did t seem aware of it till we asked about our order.
This was the most amazing dinning experience of my life. Service was excellent and food was delicious....10 stars.......
