My husband and I always visit the Ocean Z when we are in Aruba. The food and ambience are always amazing. I was a bit disappointed this time around because we felt rushed. It was 8:30pm when we were still eating our dinner. There were two other couples finishing up theirs, and the wait staff began to clear off all of the tables. We didn't even order dessert because they were literally waiting for us to leave. While we were waiting for our cab they started to shut the lights off. Very uncomfortable.

Paella for 2 was delicious and plentiful. I had preordered it and was advised it would be served at 7:30 pm ( had a 6:30 pm sunset reservation). We didn’t order appetizers so we could enjoy it - glad we did! It came at 7:15. We ordered the frozen key lime pie and the two of us shared it. It was very good and refreshing! Service was excellent!!!

Been coming to Aruba for 10 years tonight by far is the worst meal we have ever eaten. As per our waitress she had issues at another table so we were forgotten about at our table. My drink glass was empty the entire time. We ordered the grouper special they asked us what sides we wanted to we said grilled pineapple with salad and my husband said with salad and mashed potatoes. I wish I took a picture of the plate. 2 small pieces of overcooked grouper so dry it shredded and salad on the same plate so when you put the dressing on it runs into the grouper and mashed pasties or pineapple. We told the waitress how do you plate a salad on an entree plate with dressing running into everything on the plate. She told us she will get the manager well they never showed up. I told the waitress give me the check and I will eat somewhere else. I told the waitress I will never never come back here. We are actually In the restaurant business and have never ever written such a bad review. If you truly like great food and even okay service do not come here I can recommend 10 other restaurants on the island. The waitress and manager should be embarrassed for what happened. No excuse

Three of us dined there recently and my house guest has never been there and she is a real foodie. She ordered the tuna and was blown away with the dinner and said that it was the best she ever had. I was like "Please" you go to so many places and she held to her guns and said it was amazing and she also love the Martini (Expresso) with he foamy top. I have dined there four times prior and always wonderful. I am a creature of habit and ordered the Skirt Steak which is enough for two people. We live in Aruba and this is the place to chill and have an excellent experience. Next time I will order the Tuna, I tasted it and it was amazing. Richard Lynch

We are back each year to Aruba and have dined the last 3 years at Ocean Z at least twice per visit. Our first day back we made our reservation but upon arrival we were told they could only seats outside (not my request) - there were people inside and several empty tables - we asked and were denied by the hostess but then the waitress Miriam took care of us - we were seated inside and had a great meal. Miriam did a great job otherwise we would have left.

We have been coming to Aruba for over 10 years and are always looking for new places to try. Ocean Z is now going to be a restaurant we will go to every year going forward. Great food, great staff in a beautiful boutique hotel. Can’t wait to come again next year! - The Coombs Family
