Amazing experience and meal at Ocean Prime. To quote my wife “the best lobster I have ever had” and a near perfect Chilean sea bass. Topped off by the most delicious carrot cake, I assumed no one else liked carrot cake but me however this rendition of it will make anyone a fan. Would highly recommend any KC visitors or KC locals to Ocean Prime.

Hannah the server was poor. Brought out bottle of wine, but took forever to bring glasses and open it. Food was OK, but overpriced. Very tight seating. Tables too close. Table next to us had his hat on. In general not impressed. Go to Capitol Grill or Eddie V"s instead.

The wait staff was great!! Atmosphere is wonderful. The Ahi tuna was very good and I highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back

Outstanding service and attention to our requests. We celebrated an Anniversary with a speciality cocktail that was, indeed, special. Excellent value and enticing ambiance.

Disappointed in this visit. Lobster was overcooked and over salted. No one even asked how our entrees were to give feedback. Very expensive for a mid level meal.

The food was AMAZING but the best part of our experience was our server, Jamison! If you go here, ask for him! They even wrote” happy anniversary” on our dessert plate. We were celebrating our anniversary and made reservations far in advance but they put us right by the door with people walking by us the entire time which was disappointing.
