   This was my second time at Ocean-Prime Chicago, and it didn't disappoint. If you like seafood or steaks, it can't be beat. Their pretzel rolls are soft and warm, perfect for melting butter. I started with a half dozen oysters on the half shell, their private label offering (cape cod). Served with a cocktail sauce with plenty of extra horseradish on top for mixing in. Next I had the Halibut, Halibut you say, such a common fish in a fancy restaurant. Unlike no other I've ever had. Served over a bed of gnocchi and lobster meat, with a tomato/lemon au jus. Out of this world. I would have loved to try one of their sushi rolls, or salads, but I'll save that for next time. I can't say anything about the deserts, except they looked amazing as they went by, too full for that. But I can comment on one of the best old fashions I've had. Added to the 4 Roses bourbon and Angostura bitters, was Aperol, gave it a sweetness unlike others. I actually went to the bar after I finished my meal to have another and get the recipe. The service was outstanding, if not a little too fast. I was eating alone so it didn't bother me, but if I had company I probably would have wanted a little more time between courses. Overall a great experience; great service, great food and great drinks. I highly recommend it for couples and business meetings. Probably not a great place for younger kids though.

   We started off with a drink at the bar served by Adam who was very friendly and accommodating. We were seated by a window with a beautiful view of the city and river and the decor and ambiance is classy but relaxed. Mercedes was very knowledgeable about the menu, personable and accommodating. We had a delicious and tender (tasty but not fatty) boneless ribeye which we shared along with the perfectly prepared ahi tuna and amazing mashed potatoes with cheesy topping and tasty but not spicy jalapeños. The chocolate peanut butter moose dessert was delicious and surprisingly light and sizable portion. The service, food and atmosphere was perfect!

   Great restaurant would go back, we had the surf and turf. We were very satisfied with everything.

   Excellent experience, deserves a Michelin recommendation. Some of the bus people need to be better trained so they don’t reach across table. Overall very good and would go back. Strong wine list, weak in Bordeaux.

   alert, friendly and polite service, very good kitchen, desert a nuance less quality than seafood, wines excellent, a place to feel wwll and to enjoy

   Great place, but please lower the volume on the music....it is nice to dine and chat without having to scream across the table.

   Another amazing location! Food was all excellent from starters to desserts. Service by Jessica was top notch. The view is phenomenal from the table and the atmosphere is very pleasant and upscale. Would recommend to all looking for great food in Chicago.
