   Erin was an absolute immaculate server who made our dinner extra special! She is why Ocean Prime gets a 5-star rating! Also kudos to the restaurant for printing a special colorful sign inside our menus recognizing a milestone birthday! Meant a lot to us!

   The restaurant is beautiful! Food was amazing! This was my second time at Ocean Prime ! Thank you to all the staff! You all have excellent customer service and care! I will definitely be back this has become my all time favorite!

   We had a wonderful experience at Ocean Prime. Our meals and server were outstanding. Six of us were celebrating a graduation. They made it so special for us. Thank you! Our server was exceptional. I forget her name but she went to Loyola downtown campus back in the day. She guided some of our selections and just seemed to anticipate what we would enjoy. Every bite was perfect!

   I felt like I was dining in a nightclub since the music was so loud (this was 6pm!) over priced for the food and drink.

   Hubby and I were celebrating an anniversary and decided to stay at London House and visit Ocean Prime restaurant in Chicago. I must say I was underwhelmed by the experience. The hostess was not welcoming at all, and seemed as if she didn’t want to be there. The ambiance was good, just somewhat loud due to parties celebrating at the time. Also, back booth table we were seated at is probably the worst seating area since back of the booth is right up against the waiters buffet station for picking up dishes and it’s quite noisy from their talking while hanging out and all the “clanking” noises being made. The food, imo was not worth the price paid. Hubby ordered the rib eye steak medium, which was flavorless and most likely not a good quality grade as the price point would suggest. The two lobster tails I ordered were very small and not the best tasting either. The French onion soup was extremely salty, although you do get a good portion size for the price. The bread at the table was hard, cold and not good- (this is usually the cherry on top at most restaurants). I did enjoy the drinks which were pretty good and the tasty, warm butter cake for dessert we were given for our anniversary. I gave 4 stars overall for service because we had a fun waiter, the manager did engage with us from time to time, which was nice, and water was always on point at our table. However, food should be much better for the prices paid.

    We stayed in the downtown area to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and mentioned this in the reservation. The restaurant took note, and treated us to complementary champagne and dessert, and the nicest surprise when we opened our menus. That, on top of excellent food and service. A big Thank You! shoutout to Ocean Prime for making our anniversary extra special and memorable!
