Ocean is a laid-back and totally family-friendly restaurant that's pretty much a "come as you are" sure thing. It's right next to the pool and just a few yards from the Atlantic, so feel free to towel off the kids and join us for a great meal.

Our menu features the local fruits, veggies, and island influences found along the Florida coast. We're absolute sticklers for using sustainable ingredients and sourcing from our local fisherman and growers. So, no matter what you choose, it'll be brought fresh to your table every time.

Join us at Ocean for breakfast and sit inside under the air-conditioning or grab a waterfront table outside.

We loved this spot. We had a party of 10. Very roomy. Conch chowder was great!

The food was good, I little expensive though. We did a reservation for 9:00pm and the waitress apparently she didn't like it. She rolled her eyes sometimes. But she didn't a ruined our evening. The place is amazing. We ask for an outside table, where we had the chance to listen to live music. Thumbs up 100 times.

First diner experience @ OCEAN The food taste was the best part of the evening. The staff were VERY nice but the restaurant seemed to be under staffed. It could have been a much better experience with a few more employees.

Service was not very good. Slow and server was not friendly at all. We were having a get together with friends and had fun anyway. We weren't letting the server get us down.

Great buffet selection and very good attention to food allergies by staff. Food was tasty and plentiful. A bit loud due to high ceiling and echo, but not terrible.

Service is very slow. It makes no difference how much the food was as it was way over priced. No selection. Do not recommend this restaurant but the resort is just fine.

Always flavorful fresh options to please everyone. Staff is very friendly. Parents with children-the bathroom is located outside of the restaurant which can be inconvenient.

We have been to Ocean on all of our visits to Hawks Cay. Each time we are as pleased as the time before. It is a casual dining place on normal days for breakfast and dinner. On New Year's Eve, it is turned into a lovely and festive event. The food and service is very good for a resort setting. For many of our meals, including New Year's Eve, we were lucky to have Ariel for our waitress. She is energetic and engaging as well as extremely efficient and accommodating. A true asset to Ocean. The dining options on property are limited, but Oceans varying menu makes return trips worthwhile. A fun place to eat

We have stayed at Hawks Cay for 4 out of the last 5 years and this is the first time we decided to stay at the resort for a dinner and try the Ocean restaurant. We ordered the dinner buffet because it seemed like the best value and more selection for our two teenage boys. The dinner rolls served at the start of our meal were very tasty, but it went downhill from there. The buffet food selection was minimal and poor. The food items were not restocked in a timely fashion. There was food on the floor causing it to be slippery near the food service areas. The food did not taste well and in fact two out of the four of us had stomach issues for the 12-18 hours following the meal. The dessert selection consisted of cake, cake and oh….more cake. For the $35 adult price and I believe the boys were $17 this was the biggest waste of money and time ever. The ONLY saving grace was our delightfully sweet and competent waitress I believe her name was Shelby (from Michigan?). I know the resort is building a new restaurant and for the sake of all staying there I would hope it is a huge improvement over Ocean which I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Lovely restaurant at a fantastic resort. Food was great with a good choice (Christmas day buffet) but outdoor dining was quite noisy due to kids club who seemed to be doing a salvage hunt and then a movie under the stars. Didn't spoil the atmosphere for us but we did hear a few people complaining about it
