   I went for the breakfast buffet. There was a decent selection but it was a tad pricey ($24.00 per person). As a family resort, it'd be expensive to cater to a family of four but as a single visitor, it was fine.

   Breakfast was great. Dinner was terrible. The "new menu" is not good. Avocado and Brie quesadilla was weird along with other options. Had warm red wine in a plastic cup that I couldn't even drink. Find another place for dinner.

   We had a group of 24 come in for dinner. Everyone had a great time and the food and drinks were wonderful. Great service!!!

   We were staying at Hawk's Cay for a week with our whole family. We liked the idea of restaurants on the premises but we're quickly disappointed by the high prices and quality of the food. We had the buffet dinner here. There were 9 of us. High ceiling makes it very noisy. There is outside dining but if you do the buffet you have to carry your plates in and out the front door. Also not the best for large groups. Price $28 per person for the buffet, 3 and under free when a buffet dinner is ordered. They also have an A la carte menu and a children's menu. Service was slow. It took a long time for my husband to get his burger that was ordered from the A la carte menu. I gave the food a "good" rating because of the salad bar. Nice cheese platter. Fresh lettuces and choices for toppings and accompany your salad. My kids also liked the soup they had. I think it was Pasta Figioli. Nice bread basket. They also had pizza for the buffet. It was under heated lamps. Just o.k.

    Didn't realize the restaurant was a buffet so we decided to order off the ala cart menu. We had to wait for over an hour to receive our food. The food was average at best, not what we expect come to expect while dining in the Florida Keys. They did try to accommodate our son with a food allergy, but the menu was quite limited for him. Unfortunately, I would not be able to recommend this restaurant and certainly will not put it on my list to come back.
