   We enjoyed our meal although my friend’s falafel burger was cold in the middle. Service is quite slow but that didn’t bother us as we were there for the evening anyway. Do check your bill though as there were several mistakes in ours. Soon rectified though when it was pointed out to them.

   Arrived at obia for my partners birthday sat at the table ordered are food to be told the steak we ordered wasn’t on the menu anymore and then ordered a different steak to be told that they didn’t have any of those left we was the only people in the restaurant so not very good service and all and had to leave and find somewhere else locally not a good end to a birthday treat

   The food was really good but was I was a little disappointed with the ambience. One half of venue was bar & the other a restaurant but they seemed to clash with each other. The football (world cup was on) was screened on large tvs in bar & restaurants & this made it nearly impossible to chat over dinner. This set up is fine but I don't think it is obvious from you website. I was expecting more of a restaurant dining experience than noisy bar.

   Two of us chose lobster roll. The lobster was tough and fairly tasteless, with any flavour masked by chilli, and very poor value.

   Friendly staff listened to our requests to allow a break between courses. Excellent food and good wine selection.

   This was my first trip here and it certainly didn’t disappoint. They have a great informal bar area and seated restaurant area. The food was fabulous and the service spot on. As well as street parking there is a handy car park just around the corner. The lobsters was fabulous, perfectly cooked and really delicious. A great cocktail and wine menu. I’d really recommend you give this a try!

    Been before and enjoyed. However the last two occasions has been very noisy with large groups shouting over each other. This meant you could not have a conversation.
