OBC Kitchen is a local, chef-driven restaurant that houses an extremely rare bourbon collection, eclectic craft beer selection and extensive wine list. Centuries-old local barn wood surrounds guests as they enjoy high quality, distinctive dishes in a pub like atmosphere. Indulge in chef-driven dishes and seasonal favorites. Celebrate the weekend with $5 Happy Hour features each Friday. Enjoy brunch favorites, bloody marys and mimosas on Saturday and Sunday.

The passionate staff fosters a spirit of hospitality and Kentucky heritage. OBC Kitchen was named after the counties that eventually became Kentucky; “Old Bourbon County” was stamped on bourbon barrels that floated down the Mississippi from Kentucky and became synonymous with the best bourbon in the U.S.

    Never a bad meal at OBC! Trevor was our server today for brunch and he was so sweet and kind! Definitely hope he’s working next time we are there!

    Shelby was an amazing server and Apollo shared his wealth of knowledge with us. Both took time to explain the great cocktails and food. Thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at OBC Kitchen and can’t wait to return! Thank you!!!

    Everyone in our party was able to find something they desired on this wide, but contained menu. I'd be hard pressed to imagine someone being disappointed here. Bonus - this summer, if you spend $100, you receive a $25 gift card to use by the end of July.

    We love OBC and while we have our staple favorites, we love trying new things. Had the chicken lettuce wraps- wonderful! And glad it’s that time of year for the tomato-mozzarella-burrata salad.

    We have eaten at OBC Kitchen whenever we visit Lexington and it is still one of our favorite dining experiences. We have enjoyed everything we tried, but you especially need to try their Bacon in a Glass, Elote Dip, Tomato Burata and Watermelon Salad (huge - get to share!) and Thai Spiced Calamari for appetizers. For dinner, our favorites have been the Short Ribs, Scallop and Mushroom Risotto, and Potato Crusted Salmon. They also have a huge (!!!) selection of bourbon and some really interesting craft cocktails. Enjoy!!
