   Visited Lexington and saw this place on Eater. When we saw it was in a strip mall we were wondering about the place. All I can say is WOW- you enter and are transported to a beautiful restaurant with amazing food. We live in Chicago and this was major city quality grub. Huge portions and we left very full. From the home baked rolls to the fried green tomatoes and the fried chicken, salad and wagyu burger. Every bite was delicious. A must visit if you are in Lexington!

   Had the filet mignon with medium temp and it was cooked medium well to well done. It has the chewy knowing texture and was disappointed. The cocktails were wonderful and the cheese dip with chip appetizer was on point. The service was blah. Felt like our waiter had a bit of an attitude with us. He seemed very nice and cordial with the table next to us who were buying the over priced 2 oz pours of bourbons which you could have bought a bottle for for the same price just down the street. We went to Drake's the next day and the food and service there was on point. However the rich uncle OBC Kitchen was way less desirable.

   Fantastic experience all around. Small but not cramped, lively but not loud. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable service. Food and cocktails both fantastic at reasonable prices. All halibut dishes, elote dip, meatballs highly recommended. We’ll be back.

   Mike was our server and was friendly and attentive. One of our crew forgot her purse and he ran it out to her as we were leaving and even took a picture for us! The food and drinks were delicious as they always are.

   It’s tough to get a perfect 10 from me but that’s exactly what was earned. Our server Truman - 10, the food 10, the drinks 10. My point? This was our first visit (from Florida) and our picky table of five all had the same results - a 10. The food and drinks were so good that I’ve added them to my must visit list whenever I’m in Lexington on business.

   Great brunch after church with the family, the crème brûlée french toast was ordered as an appetizer and it was amazing. I had steak and eggs and it was perfection and service was even better!
