   I don't have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to do this review justice. We celebrated a birthday here last night and from the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic. Our server, Zachery, was a delight. I His service was just impeccable! The food was awesome. The atmosphere was wonderful. Nicholas Papas, the GM, stopped by a few times to see how all was going. Very pleasant exchanges, not intrusive. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

   Everything was great, steak might have been a little under cooked for my liking. But, besides that the apps were amazing and service was great.

   If you want the best server in Raleigh then hustle on over to Oak and request David Kracke - the man, the myth, the legend himself. He will charm your absolute socks off and ruin any future restaurant experience with his impeccable skills, timing, knowledge and that SMILE. Not to give him all the credit, the rest of the staff was incredible as well, the food was top notch (deviled eggs and steak tartare were legendary) and overall it was a ten out of ten experience. Go to oak steakhouse immediately and give them your money, because you won't regret it.

   The ambience, the customer service, the food, the staff and they went over and above to make my Craig feel very special. Thanks to the staff especially for your attention to detail. Craig was touched by your kindness and really loved his gifts. We are forever grateful for your kindness shown to us.

   I took my wife for her birthday and we had a beautiful meal from start to finish. The bread service is a must - warm and delicious, topped with thick salt, and served with a great butter. We got the Caesar and NC Burrata salads and they were both decently sized and tasty. Her filet was perfectly cooked with a nice, thickly seasoned crust and my elk chop was fantastic - I ordered it served medium rare as suggested and it was so tender and flavorful. We also got a side of the mushrooms and they were seasoned and cooked to perfection - the perfect compliment to our meal. Finally, we got the chocolate cake for dessert and it was huge and decadent. A truly wonderful meal and we will definitely be back!

   Asked for a window table. Was told I was given a window table. Then proceeded to walk us past 3 open window tables to a middle table. Waiter made sure to visit other tables around us multiple times while not even stopping by. We had ordered two glasses of wine, was told that they were up and he was going to be right back with the glasses, took a pretty long time to come out. Had someone else bring it to us. While the table next to us ordered wine afterwards and he brought it out to them almost immediately. Only time he moved quickly to serve our table was to give us our check. I honestly regret tipping. Not to mention the medium filet mignon was extremely undercooked. Was honestly disappointed in the experience. To see certain tables get preferential treatment. First and last time dining here.

   Hands down the best dining experience in Raleigh. After living in the area for almost 10 years, we’ve been to plenty of restaurants around the Triangle. Oak Steakhouse won our hearts 2 years ago when we dined for my husband’s birthday, and the combination of experience, food, and staff was so top notch we’ve been back every year to celebrate his birthday. What makes Oak Steakhouse different from others is the hospitality. Most of the time when you make a restaurant reservation and select “birthday” or “anniversary” it is not acknowledged. Oak Steakhouse is special and actually celebrates you and your guests. After seeing how my husband was acknowledged throughout our experience, it made our dinner guests want to make reservations for their birthdays too. The staff and general manager went above and beyond to ensure our time with them was incredible. And on top of everything? The food is delicious, fresh, and absolutely amazing. Thank you for another amazing experience Oak Steakhouse, see you next April!

    THis restaurant went above and beyond to provide a personal touch to my husband, who was celebrating his birthday. They asked for hobbies and likes ahead of time, and got him a gift. SO THOUGHTFUL! They also sent out free appetizers because the steaks took a little longer to cook. Very impressed with their service and attention to detail! Highly recommend, and will be back!! The manager even stopped by a few times to chat and check-in, and just shoot the breeze with us.
