Service was good. People are very nice, accommodating for the occasion. Wife’s steak was great. Mine was extremely peppery and not very tender. That was the only complaint

A very good choice for a special occasion. Nice ambiance, good food and great service. I would give it a 5 except that is is very expensive. I didn’t think my $72 steak was that much better than steaks I have eaten at other restaurants for significantly less.

There are a lot of good steakhouses in Charlotte. This one offers nothing interesting. It is way overpriced, atmosphere is just ok and our service was mediocre. $200 for a couple small filets and some Brussels sprouts and the smallest wedge salad I have ever had. Don’t recommend

Slow service food OK, we arrives at 7:45, no drink order for half hour finally got appetizers an hour in asked twice for bread. We did not receive our steaks until 9:45 2 hours after we arrived. We asked for our check when they bought our meals to us so we didn't have to wait another hour to pay. Will not be back

I came to celebrate a friends birthday and the servers were phenomenal. The food and atmosphere was amazing. The entire staff was attentive and went above and beyond to make my friends birthday special. Will be returning!

We celebrated a birthday and they treated us so special. Service was great and the steak was perfectly prepared.

Anniversary

Well it only took 15 minutes before anyone even brought us water and when it did food was not good at all

We chose Oak Steakhouse for our anniversary. Service was absolutely excellent. Our server and all that assisted were so friendly. The filets were outstanding and cooked just the way we ordered. They gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary. All the food was served at the correct temp. Shrimp cocktail and oysters Rockefeller were excellent. I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat.

Prime example of a fine dining experience. The musical selection, noise level, ambiance, service from the hostess, server and GM were outstanding. The food and drinks were amazing in presentation, taste and value and were everything we expected from a restaurant of this caliber. Perfect for a nice date night, celebration or special occasion meal, or if you are just in the mood for an incredible steak dinner w/ great drinks. We will definitely return soon!

Great experience, 10/10 recommend!

Cujo our server was very attentive and made the meal special. All of the food was amazing from the cocktails to the dessert. We had the grilled octopus starter, filet, lamb, a variety of sides, and the peach cheesecake. This is a great place with ample parking for celebrating occasions or enjoying a date night.

I went to Oak for the first time last night and it was indeed an incredible experience! I was really impressed by the amazing drinks and my filet was cooked to perfection. Andre, our server was friendly, attentive, and had great menu suggestions! I definitely will be visiting again and will requesting Andre!

I proposed to my girlfriend at the restaurant and the staff helped plan the whole proposal with me. They took video and pictures and accommodated us amazingly. The food was fantastic and made the whole night memorable. I highly recommend!

I feel like for what you’re paying for the overall dining experience should be a bit better . Made reservations for my girlfriends birthday . The host who sat us down told my gf happy birthday but apparently never mentioned to the staff and the kitchen that we were celebrating her birthday so no card or anything . If the Brussels sprouts were the best thing on the table that says A LOT! I’ll be sticking with Chima as my go to thanks .

We had such a delightful time here! The service, food, hospitality and ambience were perfect for what we were looking for.

Perfect location for a date night- it was our first time here and the location itself is strikingly beautiful. Our server Johnny, who was also the bartender, took wonderful care of us while simultaneously taking care of the bar.

Management came by to check on the food, service was on point, and we left filled with delicious food and drinks. Could not have enjoyed our experience more.

My wife and recently got married and we were just on a date night so I surprised her with a night out and we dined at Oak Steakhouse, and it was amazing!! Everything was beautiful the food was incredible, but the one aspect of the restaurant that made it shine was the service. Please forgive me I forgot the young lady the greeted us and seated us her name but she was great she took pictures for us as well as explaining the menu options, but our ambassador for the evening Daniel “Kojo” was FREAKING AMAZING!!! His service and attention to our needs was on the AVENGERS LEVEL! Yes Avengers like Iron man because he was boarder line heroic in there lol. I joke there but for real that young man is a definite asset to that establishment which already stands strong on its own but Daniel “Kojo” just fortifies it. Thank you for the opportunity to share my great experience we will be returning Mr&Mrs Kendall

I kid you not this was our conversation with the waiter: can I take your drink order? Yes I’ll take a Crown Royal and ginger ale. Sorry we’re out of Crown. We have an extensive list of whiskey/bourbon but are out of several.
Ok Tell me about the Fresh fish of the day? Sorry we’re out of fish. But we have scallops.
Ok tell me about the fillet. Sorry we’re out of fillet.
Really? A steak house with no fillet? Yessir. My apologies….

This place has a great presentation but the food is just Ok. The service was a bit slow. Overall i wouldnt go back. But mac and cheese is yummy.

I enjoyed the environment it was very relaxing. The staff did a good job with assisting with my special celebration. There was a wait on the food. It was worth it I had the sword fish with black bean hummus. It was very flavorful. I was able to taste the french fries from my sons plate. They were very good it was something different. I would return and it is a culturally diverse experience which is important that I feel welcomed where I spend my money.

Took almost an hour to get our food after we ordered. Nothing fancy, just a couple of steaks. Steaks were great, no complaints there, but our sides came 10 minutes after our steaks that took an hour. Mashed potatoes and fries aren't difficult. The mashed potatoes tasted like they dumped a salt shaker in them, they were too salty to even eat, and I like salty food.

I loved this place before covid, but in the two times I've been since Covid hit, they have really struggled.

Great night for an anniversary celebration. The restaurant was fabulous and our waiter Alex made us feel very special. We will ask for him on our next visit. I highly recommend Oak and Alex as your server.

This was an incredible restaurant! Quick service, great staff. We had Ben as our waiter- great guy. I highly recommend this place, especially for a date or special occasion.

My only complaint was how dark it was! The lights were incredibly dim, making it hard to see the detail of the food.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Oak steakhouse. He said they were the best oysters and steak he has ever had. The quality of food was well worth the price that we paid! We will be visiting again for sure.

Excellent experience! I was there for a blind date. The staff and the chef gave us excellent attention. We were able to experience the atmosphere, the food and the service which makes this a restaurant I highly recommend for any outing but especially a date. We were never rushed but given proper attention in case things needed to move more quickly. I never felt rushed but also knew someone was always ready to meet our next needs! Thank you!
