Located on Charleston's historic Broad Street, Oak Steakhouse is a classic American steakhouse. A classic array of both wet and dry aged Certified Angus® Beef are featured on the menu. Ingredients are sourced locally and regionally from sustainable farmers and fisherman to accent the steakhouse menu. Items including local oysters on the half-shell, Clammer Dave's caper clams and a daily fresh fish selection depending on the season. Other popular dishes include the whole fried lobster, goat.sheep.cow artisanal cheese plate, wedge of Kurios Farms bibb lettuce salad, the house-made pasta and vegetarian plate. The expansive and impressive wine program at Oak Steakhouse emphasizes big California Cabernets and Old World reds from Italy and Bordeaux with more than 200 wines by the bottle and 20 wines by the glass. The bar attracts a loyal, local following from nearby businesses and neighborhoods with its great cocktails and happy hour. Inside a historic bank building that dates back to 1848, Oak's stately setting features three floors with five distinct dining areas.     We ate downstairs in the booth at the front window. Excellent ambiance. Our server, Chris, was above and beyond. The food did not disappoint either. Overall a great experience. Phil and Jennifer

    Oak was the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday! The steaks were mouthwatering and cooked to perfection, and the friendly staff made the whole experience feel extra special. If you're a steak lover looking for a great time, this place is a must-visit! This was my fourth time at Oak and I’ll definitely be back!

    Had one of the best surf and turf dinners in my lifetime. Menu allowed you to build your own. I chose 12 oz filet, grilled shrimp and added crab with bernaise sauce. Was a home run Also loved the ambiance and waiter. Lots of class all around. Will definitely return. Interesting cocktails too!!!

    We went for my husband‘s birthday. We both got the New York strip, which was cooked perfectly. The whipped potatoes, loaded was delicious, shrimp cocktail was equally as delicious. The dessert was outstanding. Our server Alex was wonderful, attentive, pleasant, and very accommodating. Ambience of the restaurant was beautiful. I would definitely recommend the oak Steakhouse and we would definitely come again. i

    Amazing time with the family. Ryan was spectacular for us. Can’t believe they had a 2014 Bond on the wine list. Truly amazing steak and experience. Can’t wait to come back!
