   My daughter was in town for a visit and we went to the Oak and Rose tea room for the Kentucky Derby tea. We have been to tea places all over the country and this is one of the best ones. It was so nicely decorated with derby things on the tables and throughout the restaurant. My daughter really enjoyed the pimento cheese sandwich and the pecan praline scones were delicious. Can't wait for another excuse to go to this wonderful tea room.

   My husband and I took our 5 and 7 year old grandsons for tea and it was wonderful. Fun food for the boys to eat and the hot chocolate with marshmallows was a hit. The owner is so wonderful and came over to chat with us and made us feel so welcome and special. We will definitely go back.

   We had some specific needs and they were met perfectly. The staff was so wonderful and helpful. We were visiting the town and when we return to the area will try and set up another visit.

    This is a beautiful venue! Perfect for a shower or small party! The service was great at first, but after they served the food, they didn’t come back for tea refills. The food was okay (the chocolate cake was by far the best). I would come back with a group of girls for the beautiful setting by the river, but I think they could improve a few things. I’m sure they will get better as time goes on! Definitely worth a stop!
