This the 3rd time eating in this Italian restaurant. Alway the service and the staff go beyond and above what is expected. Food as always excellent with a good wine selection. Always looking forward to return
Lovely food, great service. Portions are on the small side and pricey but if you are looking to splurge for an occasion a very nice resteraunt to do so.
Same great food and the same great staff! Had a lovely dinner here outside - lots of blankets to keep diners warm as well as some heaters kept us warm enough. Menu has plenty of choice and the wine list is good. One of my favourite Italian restaurants in the area and it never disappoints!
Great restaurant. Would recommend.
Cold outside no heaters although they did offer blankets. As it was very cold looking forward to piping hot food but it was lukewarm at best. Taste was fine but my friend had meatballs (came just with bread). He asked for plate of pasta to compliment and was told they couldn’t do it as dishes were all pre made. A first when an Italian restaurant can’t do you a bowl of pasta!
Over is the best Italian ever! Lovely staff, amazing food. Couldn’t ask for more.
Service was fab. Would have liked a longer sitting time although understand under the circumstances. Starter was yummy but the main whilst tasty could have been a bigger quantity
From the moment we w
The food was excellent. The pasta was one of the best pastas I have eaten in my life. Thank you for the culinary experience. The service staff was very helpful and did everything they could to make you feel comfortable.
I would go there everytime again.
Food was delicious, service was excellent, will definitely be returning again soon!
O'ver serves some of the best Italian food I have ever had. It is a great venue with consistently good food and service.
Am normally a big fan and staff great, but recent experience was a little disappointing... I understand that restaurants are trying to recover and need to squeeze in two sittings in an evening, but I felt very aggressively rushed. The turnaround time was in the original booking confirmation, I was reminded on the phone, we were reminded at least twice when we arrived, another 2 times during main meal, then 15 minutes before we were due to vacate table were told that the next party hadn’t arrived yet, so we could order a coffee but would have to move to a standing table if they turned up (why should we move early?!). I can’t stand - I have long covid. We gave up and left.
I am local and I have supported this place over the last 12 months. Whole thing just made me feel very unwanted.
Very disappointing experience. The food was good but nothing special for the price we paid and service was very poor. We waited around 30 minutes for drinks order and felt very rushed at the end. The receptionist didn’t present our bill and just passed through card machine, we kindly asked to see our bill and needed a minute cause we wanted to split, in the meantime another person approached us, the third time I gave up and paid that all. Sadly it wasn’t birthday dinner as I expected.
Incredible selection of authentic Italian food. So much choice on every section of the menu. Great cocktails and wine list too
Great evening out!
Only outdoor seating available due to Covid restrictions so sat on pavement next to busy Southwark road. Good buzz nonetheless. Food was very good despite having to wait longer than desired for it to arrive. Table booking was strictly limited to 90 mins, so they couldn’t offer us any dessert. Staff were friendly and offered blankets when it got cooler but unfortunately the blankets were never delivered. Would return based on quality of food but would expect some improvements in service levels when indoor area is open again.
The staff did an amazing job given that it was the first Saturday everyone was allowed out.
Had an amazing time at O Ver! The staff was very attentive and they offered us blankets for the outdoor tables, which were very much appreciated in the cold! Food and cocktails were amazing and service quick! Would absolutely recommend!
I had gone for my birthday and had reserved prior. Upon reaching there I was made to wait 20 minutes whilst people who did not have revelations were being catered too. I was then given a table finally. The food was brought in separately even though we requested it all together. The waitress was new and was not fully trained. She did fumble a lot with the orders and almost spilt wine over. Since it was my Brithday, my wife requested a dessert with a happy birthday on it, and we waited for 20 minutes but this didn’t arrive. We had cleared the bill by then so they didn’t seem to bother. And we were unable to take off the service charge added. Extremely awful experience. The food was also cold and the blankets offered were dirty. Did not expect this at all. Wouldn’t go again
Great food, super helpful staff but it is on the main road so eating outside is a bit awkward. However, the music from st felix place (across the road) reached the restaurant to overcome the cars.
Both really enjoyed the food. My tuna with pistachio was cooked perfectly and my wife had the sea bass which was very fresh. Forced to sit outside by crazy regulations but nevertheless staff were very friendly and helpful with warm blankets on-hand.
Was rather pricey but delicious food and nice service - would recommend if not on a tight budget
Delicious food but overpriced for what you get.
Fabulous. So happy to have them back.
Great ambience, prompt service, good food. Will definitely be back.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful with menu choices. Thank you for a lovely evening!
It was good
Excellent meal and drinks. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente
Came here whilst in London for my girlfriends 21st, we both can be fussy eaters and have eaten various pizzas over the years and this was honestly the best one I have ever tasted. The service was very personal and it felt very romantic and private inside. The value for money was fantastic, we paid £12.50 for our pizza and for some comparison a pizza from our hotel (which is as more like a frozen pizza in oven job) was £14 so I was very happy with the price. The staff were very polite and welcoming I would definitely recommend.
Love this place. Always ask about the specials, don't go without eating the focaccia.
Disappointing. My seat was broken and it was freezing cold. Didn't really enjoy the night.
Simply outstanding. The ingredients used are very high quality and the dishes are really well prepared. The pizzas are the best I have ever tasted. The service is so friendly and professional and if I could give it 7 stars I would.
Quite a good restaurant and great service. Good value for money. Recommend
Honestly the best pizza I’ve eaten in London so far, I had the diavola, with Spianata Calabrese and N'duja, it was packed full of flavour absolutely amazing.
Same as dessert, can’t recommend enough.
Can’t wait to try more of the menu soon 😃
O’ver has also done great pizza as well as some pasta dishes but have now expanded their menu a little and it’s made it an even better local choice! Started with an incredible beef tartare, before an excellent pizza and the most amazing pici cacio e pepe made even better with the addition of some truffle - WOW! Solid wine list, good desserts and charming service round out a great dining experience
Had a lovely time for dinner, the only negative was as were were leaving and as we had paid the waitress serving us rudely asked us to leave when we were already doing so (coats on & bill was paid). It’s a shame because up until that point the service had been lovely and attentive. Food was great, ambience was lovely. The situation at the end of wouldn’t stop me from going back.
The food is never anything but exceptional and the service is fantastic. Rosemary Focaccia is a must to any meal!
Superb food, warm and attentive service. Thank you!
Great food and very attentive service. Atmosphere was a little quiet but this was due to covid restrictions.
Beautiful food, great staff and intimate atmosphere. Quite pricey but maybe that’s because we aren’t used to London prices.
