No tuna tartare - We were seated, presented with the menu and left alone for about 7-8 mins to decide what we wanted. Only after I had made my decisions and made my order I was told there was no tuna at all. Great start.
Capesante starter - I ended up ordering the scallop, I was presented with two pieces of scallop that were so small that they were dwarfed by my fork. The entirety of the starter plate was able to fit on to the fork for one mouthful, Each scallop was the size of a ctrl key on a keyboard and that's being generous. For £13!
Black Tortellone - For £22 you get 4 small pasta parcels on a comedically large plate. Think of supermarket ravioli, now think of 4 pieces of that on a massive plate.
Bread for the table - They forgot the olive oil and vinegar and the salt and pepper, they later supplied those things but the salt shaker was empty. The bread was definitely stale, it was hard and really, really dry and chewy, almost on the verge of being made in to croutons no doubt.
Mediterranean Salad - For £12 we were given £1 worth of leaves with next to no olive oil or vinegar dressing, 3 cherry tomatoes, 5 grated shreds of cheese and 1/20 of an avocado sliced thin to make it look more substantial when heaped together and presented on the plate.
Chinotto“Neri” (Bitter citrus similar to an orange) is how it was described on the menu. - I would challenge anyone to find the difference between this drink and Asda own brand concentrated orange juice. Seriously it had that artificial tangy taste that gives you a sore throat, really cheap and nasty after taste.
Service was weird - A bit all over the place.
Strippers - Nearly naked ladies/ strippers wondering around downstairs for a private event, I have no issue with that but there were kids in the restaurant at the time.
And the cost of this magical evening was £50 per head! We really regretted coming here, it ruined what was an otherwise great day for us.
Top quality as always!
This restaurant keeps delivering some of the best Italian food we’ve had in London… United Colours of Naples starter, pasta, gnocchi, baba - all were absolutely delicious. On top of that the room is nicely decorated and the service is very attentive and friendly!
Food was faultless and absolutely delicious. Officially the best scallops, stuffed courgette flowers and pasta puttanesca I’ve ever eaten. A lot of people eating pizzas which looked equally yummy. This is a really nice place but they need to tighten up the service which was a bit slack and the house wine was sold out.
We had a lovely lunch here yesterday, the sun was shining and we had a table outside. Great food and cocktails, will definitely be back!
Everything was great!
Great italian food! Enjoyed everything we ordered!
Terrible service but great food
A wonderful restaurant with amazing ambience and even better food. The calamari was perfect and the Calzone was a delight; the dough itself was somehow both cushiony and airy. Service was also impeccable, we arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen was due to close and were still allowed to order food. Only hiccup were the cocktails, my O Ver Daiquiri tasted more like a Long Island Ice Tea and my friend’s Tommy Sea Margarita was...an acquired taste. Overall, I’ll definitely be back very soon!
Went for dinner at O Ver last night. Food and service was fantastic and definitely recommend. Our table was delayed by about 15 minutes but they gave us a free glass of fizz so we were happy.
Will definitely be coming back at some point in the future
The staff are lovely
Will definitely return to this restaurant. The food was amazing. Even the seawater bread was delicious. Worth a visit!
This restaurant needs to get its act together: stressed staff, very slow service, requests not fulfilled, had to wait for our table without being offered drinks then were told rudely that we had to vacate our table for waiting clientele! Appalling in every sense!
Setting & food outstanding! Such a beautiful restaurant. On this occasion it felt very understaffed however, took a long time to get served. This coupled with being rushed off the table in quite a rude manner was disappointing.
Excellent food and atmosphere, small and cozy restaurant. I had amazing pizza and my partner had pasta. The portion of pasta was rather small than normal, otherwise everything was good.
Overall nice ambiance- it was a special occasion but didn’t seem like it- my meatballs were quite rare which made me a little unwell today- otherwise the staff were lovely ☺️ A little overpriced for what it is
It was lovely to be back at O'ver which has a friendly atmosphere and wonderful food, and I love the setting in Borough. We shared the Naples antipasti which is great and had amazing pasta dishes. The app is a bit clunky but otherwise everything was as we remembered
Delicious food, great service. Adrian, our waiter, was outstanding and so polite and friendly.
Very lovely place. Food and service is impeccable. We'll be surely back, it's a must try.
Wonderful evening. Me and my partner celebrated our anniversary here and we could not have found a better place. Food was wonderful and arrived quickly and hot! Staff were attentive and warm, and made sure we wanted for nothing. The restaurant was clean and fresh feeling, and felt very covid secure for the opening of indoor dining. Wonderful location and easy to find too. We cannot wait to return, thank you to the team for making our first night out so special.
A bit expensive for what it is
Amazing food and wonderful service. Would definitely recommend!
The portion size was very small for the price. However, the taste was amazing
Great Pizza and Calamari. Will definitely come back!
This was lovely. We were outside and I was a bit worried that there would be traffic noise, but although we were on a main road, there was very little traffic (it was a Saturday) and we were well back so we didn't notice it at all. We were under a canopy with heaters! so very warm and dry. The staff were lovely and really looked after us, and the food was delicious. For a first lunch out after lockdown it felt like a very special experience. I highly recommend the organic prosecco, we treated ourselves to a bottle and really enjoyed it.
Excellent food and amazing service as usual - never disappoints.
gnocchi with red prawn and aubergine sauce was back on the menu and definitely worth considering !
Best pizza I’ve had in London, and the staff are very efficient and friendly
Fantastic food and service at O Ver; will definitely return when indoor dining is allowed. Was slightly noisy on the main road but that's not their fault!
Fantastic restaurant, great food, excellent service, good ambience but not excessive to be tacky. Perfect place to go.
Amazing, I loved this pizza and I also loved that they explained me how they use salted water from the sea to do it :) very romantic and perfect for a date!
This place have every possibility to be really nice but the staff are over-eager and push you to order.
The staff also keeps the wine bottle away from your table and keeps running up and replenish you glass ALL THE TIME which just is a very nasty way of selling more wine.
I hate this, and I’m not afraid to speak up, so I asked the waiter to leave the bottle with us so we could take it a bit easy, but he pretended not to understand - TWICE (despite me actually gesturing onto the table for him to leave it.
Terrible and stressful.
The food is nice, the design is beautiful. It’s a shame with the insensitive and up selling service.
Brilliant food, lovely staff. I would definitely recommend it!
A lovely Italian, fantastic meal and drinks with really powerful heaters on a cold windy day. Also very helpful and respectful as I am in a wheelchair.
Great service to celebrate my engagement! Thank you so much Guys! ❤️
Best pizza in London, every dish is amazing. Authentic food.
This the 3rd time eating in this Italian restaurant. Alway the service and the staff go beyond and above what is expected. Food as always excellent with a good wine selection. Always looking forward to return
Lovely food, great service. Portions are on the small side and pricey but if you are looking to splurge for an occasion a very nice resteraunt to do so.
Same great food and the same great staff! Had a lovely dinner here outside - lots of blankets to keep diners warm as well as some heaters kept us warm enough. Menu has plenty of choice and the wine list is good. One of my favourite Italian restaurants in the area and it never disappoints!
Great restaurant. Would recommend.
Cold outside no heaters although they did offer blankets. As it was very cold looking forward to piping hot food but it was lukewarm at best. Taste was fine but my friend had meatballs (came just with bread). He asked for plate of pasta to compliment and was told they couldn’t do it as dishes were all pre made. A first when an Italian restaurant can’t do you a bowl of pasta!
