   Well worth stopping in. The tempura and roll were very good. The sashimi was fresh. The service was slow, other tables that came after us were served more quickly, which tends to make the wait more difficult. We will give it another try.

   Having eaten a few times at O-Toro, I was excited to eat there again. I was taking a friend who eats at a variety of Japanese restaurants locally and loves sushi. As always, the food was wonderful. HOWEVER, after waiting about an hour and after observing three other couples sit, order, and get their food when we only had our drinks, we were NOT HAPPY. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived. After complaining we were given a bowl of edamame and continued our wait for two sushi rolls. We were given a 10% discount on our bill, but would rather have had a more timely meal so we didn't have to stress about getting to our theater date on time. Reservations at 6:15, Food Arrival at 7:25, Exit at 7:45. I'll go another time ONLY because the food is good, but if the service is poor, it will be my last visit. There are plenty of really good Japanese restaurants in town.

   Albeit this was on Valentine's Day, the edamame we ordered never came and we had to cancel it, and the nagiri, something that should take no time at all to make, needed to be ordered three times to the server before it came after everything else was already served and eaten. Other than that, the food is excellent, if a little pricey. Would recommend going on a non busy day.
