Very impressed with the service, food, environment. We booked via OpenTable for party of 15 and they gave us a private room with a table set for 15. The huge wall painting brought back warm memories of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. We will request a couple high chairs next time for the younger children. Being very much familiar with Central Asian cuisines, we appreciate the food served very much, its authenticity, quality, tastefulness, presentation. The service was top-notched. The staff were most courteous. Prices were fair and not exorbitant considering the good value we received all-round. We would return to this restaurant without hesitance! Nursel is a best-kept secret in the Bay Area that deserves to be better known. Highly recommended!

Fantastic meal. Rarely will 7 people all completely finish each and every dish. My wife is from Kazakhstan and the dishes were seasoned and prepared just like home. Good variety of traditional Central Asian dishes. Attentive and quick service. Definitely will be back!

It’s so cute! I loved the outside seating options, and the inside is very charming with its decor. The cheburek was delicious— the flaky pastry with a savory meat filling that was so good, I ended up getting two. The food here is very authentic. The dumplings were huge (beware!), but they were very tasty. While the flavors are simple, everything feels homey and comforting. A great spot for a cozy meal!
