RESERVATIONS ONLY except Saturdays! We prefer "quality over quantity"... to provide you with the very best experience we ask that you book ahead.

Obviously, a New Orleans heritage is important to a chef specializing in New Orleans cuisine but there is a second reason her food reflects the taste of New Orleans so perfectly — the ingredients.

“I don’t use substitutes,” she explained. “Just about all the ingredients I use actually come from New Orleans. We travel to New Orleans to buy the authentic food products several times a month, sometimes weekly. For traditional holidays such as Mardi Gras, we even obtain our king cakes from the traditional New Orleans suppliers such as Gambino’s and others.”

And that attention to authentic New Orleans flavor isn’t only found in the food at NuReka’s Gumbo & Gritz. It’s found in the decor as well.

The restaurant is closed for business. I am very disappointed that Open Table would make a reservation at a closed establishment. Total waste of my time and drive.
