    Nupo is very easy to find but the entrance to the restaurant can be a little confusing. We arrived early for our reservation but were seated promptly. Non alcoholic drinks could use some love since we aren’t alcohol drinkers but if you do like wine and spirits, they have a great selection. For our dinner we enjoyed their tasting journey which was a prix fixe menu where we added additional pieces. For a total of $800 before tip, this did not live up to the hype. While I really don’t have complaints about any of the dishes or fish, for some reason I just expected to be blown away. Maybe expectations were too high but I think just as good sushi can be had for a fraction of the price elsewhere.

    Food was fantastic! However whenever the omakase chef was trying to explain the dishes, it was darn near impossible to hear her due to the volume of music and loud chatter of staff behind her. Hostess was also a bit rude when I first walked in. She just looked at me and very rudely asked, "umm can I help you?" No "Hello", "Hi", "How are you this evening?"... just came off as rude. The servers however were quite polite. Other than that, everything was superb. A bit on the expensive side, but I'm sure this was due to the quality of ingredients, plus an upcharge based on the establishment.

    4th time doing Omakasi. This time I have to say is the best. Everything we ate was next level delicious unlike any sushi we’ve had anywhere including Tokyo!

    Food was overall good. Few dishes were excellent. Our server Yerin was really nice and helpful. But the manager was rude and impolite. We go to different restaurants for their services all over the world and we have had chef’s menu many times. The manager needs more training on customer service. A big applaud to Yerin for her customer service
