Having been here before we expected the same food and quality but we were really disappointed. The grilled Caesar was a head of romaine lightly grilled on two sides with three cherry tomatoes a little Parmesan and dressing. Our pizza came out with raw dough in the middle and only had a few of the ingredients listed in the menu. The lasagna was tasty but not as described in the menu. The cannoli was great. Very limited beer selection unless you want an IPA. The service was lacking as we had to hunt someone to order more drinks or to get salt and pepper. Really disappointed compared to previous visits.

Had a fantastic time tonight with my girlfriends for my birthday. Our waitress was fantastic. The food was amazing. There were so many good things on the menu. It was hard to decide what to get. 10 out of 10 experience.

A welcome challenge is having to decide between calzone, pizza, or pasta. And, if you’re open to a non-traditional lasagna, which comes in a bowl, is saucy and packs tons of flavor. For ambiance, an added bonus (many nights) is a saxophone player. A great option for family dinner out or date night.

Food quality has gone downhill. Service is okay. Outdoor tables are not served anymore, if you want to sit outside, you need to do "take-out" which is absurd. I'll probably will not return as the food isn't as good as it used to be. This place used to have a wonderful pizza but not sure what happened.

Chicken parm with pasta was fantastic, their fresh puttanesca sauce the pasta bucatini was great. My husband is on a diet and wanted the shrimp puttanesca but they made it with zucchini and squash spaghetti and it was fantastic. Our next trip back will be pizza they looked so great at the next table. Hope who ever reads this enjoys their meal.

Ask for Mike: what a great server. I had no idea what to order, he made a fabulous suggestion. Coupled with a glass of Lambrusco & a “to go” box, it was a perfect meal! The noise level is high especially with the live music. But, it’s worth it to have dinner there.

Novanta was amazing as always! Tammy the bartender makes amazing drinks, and can even recommend a cocktail if you want something different than what is on the cocktail menu. The food was fresh and came out quickly. It's our favorite place!

Unfortunately, last night's meal, which was to celebrate our son's graduation from Davidson, was very disappointing. We have eaten at Novanta many times over the past few years and chose this restaurant to celebrate. Yet, the saxophone player's music was so deafening that both sets of grandparents were not able to join in the conversation. In fact, the music was so loud that the food server got our order wrong four times. We do not blame her for this - she was apologetic about the mistakes - but altogether it amounted to a disappointing experience rather than a celebration.

6 for dinner. Food and service outstanding. We enjoyed 4 cheese pizza and Caesar salad. Very good beer selection. Room to left after entering can be very noisy and hard to hear conversations. Note that parties of 6+ are automatically charged 20% on the bill.

This is a great location and looks to be a popular restaurant. Make a reservation if you plan to go at prime time. Service was quick and our food arrived hot and in a timely manner. Our only complaint is that the food was surprisingly bland. Hubby had the lasagne (just okay) and I had the Capricciosa pizza - nice thin crust with yummy toppings, but lacking in flavor and seasoning (salt??)

Been here several times. Unfortunately it was a crowded Saturday, not making excuses, but my gluten free pasta was cold. My husband had the lasagne. Looked like soup when he got it. And the portion was definitely much smaller than the last time he ate it. Our friend said his eggplant rolatini was excellent. We will give it one more try...hoping it was an off night.

My wife and I made our 2nd visit. We had one of their pizzas' the 1st time So we Split a salad and the lasagna. Both were excellent. The lasagna isn't your typical cakey pasta meat cheese layered thing that had been premade and reheated Craft beer choices were many and very cold. Bartender made a special rum cocktail for the Mrs. That too was very good. Make a reservation as the place filled up pretty quickly around 7pm and although we didn't have to wait others did

Brought my in-laws from out of town. It was super busy, you can tell they don’t have enough people working. Our waitress was doing a million things and didn’t have her attention on us when needed. Otherwise ok, food is always good.
