Norma is a contemporary and vibrant restaurant, inspired by the food and culture of Sicily with particular emphasis on the Moorish influences of the island’s cuisine.

Norma embodies the celebrated old-school Italian hospitality and charm, taking inspiration from the grand café culture found in Sicily. Set across three floors of a characterful townhouse on Charlotte Street in London’s Fitzrovia, the first two floors are dedicated to the restaurant, with the top floor a private dining space.

Such a gem of a restaurant! We were celebrating a birthday and they looked after us so well. The food was absolutely delicious and no one rushed us which is sadly rare these days in London. Really great atmosphere and friendly staff. Would really recommend!

Service was great, very attentive. We did have a long wait between our starters and main, however which was noticeable. The menu overall is a touch too expensive, for the portion size.

Food was tasty but nothing really special to be honest. The service was not what I've come to expect in restaurants of this calibre, had to try and get attention a few times and had a half finishes drink taken away (though rectified). Would consider it again but plenty more nearby to try out so probably won't return.

It was a great evening. Very professional and friendly service and great food. We were not served the drinks that were mentioned in the booking but we didn’t bother asking about it either, so it’s not a big deal. Would happily be back again.

Polite greeting on arrival. Menu quite interesting, and far from traditional. Would have preferred less complicated pasta dishes. Our appetizers were just "ok". Asparagus were very thin, which is a shame because it is asparagus season and larger ones are readily available. The shishito peppers were cooked very well. The arancini were lukewarm, way too spicy and the rice had been mushed up to an unpleasant consistency. Our second course, my friend had a Cesar salad made with radicchio leaves and some lettuce leaves. Very bitter, but good dressing. My pasta, spaghetti with a tomato sauce, was overcooked. I had been really looking forward to a well prepared pasta dish, but sadly the sauce was very tart and the pasta overcooked. We did not have dessert. The waitress was nice but we had to look for her to ask for second drinks and black pepper and some parmesan for the pasta. Won't be going back. Shame because the decor is nice and its in a really convenient area for shopping in central London.

Norma is a real gem of a restaurant. A warm and friendly welcome, relaxed atmosphere and incredible food. Highly recommend the Red Mullet if its on the menu!!
