Norma is a contemporary and vibrant restaurant, inspired by the food and culture of Sicily with particular emphasis on the Moorish influences of the island’s cuisine.

Norma embodies the celebrated old-school Italian hospitality and charm, taking inspiration from the grand café culture found in Sicily. Set across three floors of a characterful townhouse on Charlotte Street in London’s Fitzrovia, the first two floors are dedicated to the restaurant, with the top floor a private dining space.

                                                                  I booked a table to celebrate my birthday with some friends. That was on the booking notes. We were served fast and the starters were good (arancinis + octopus). We then received the mains which were delicious: parmigiana, paccheri and the spaghetti with courgette. For dessert, we got the cannoli which was good but the brioche with ice cream was not at all. By the taste, you could tell it was not fresh. We were expecting the desserts to be brought with a candle as we saw another table got that, but nothing was done. When we got the bill, my friend mentioned to the waitress that it was my birthday and she got completely ignored... we did not push it further as it has been mentioned twice at this point. Not a great end of a Birthday dinner I must admit... that's a shame

                                                                  Lovely Friday supper at Norma. Friendly service, varied menu, reasonably priced wine list and a lovely atmosphere.

                                                                  I was really underwhelmed. The menu was limited. It was too expensive for what you got. The portion sizes didn’t reflect the prices. I don’t mind paying the prices, but didn’t find this value for money, It’s just pasta after all. The cocktails weren’t great either, just average. Shame, I thought it could be really good.

                                                                  Second time dining here but did not live up to the first experience. It felt like there has been a change of management and it reflex in the standard of both food and service.

                                                                  Took my wife out for a date night. Really love this place, great food, romantic setting and excellent service. Not the cheapest option but pretty normal for a nice meal out in this part of London. Looking forward to another visit in the future.
