   I always enjoy dining at the Grill. This is the first time I have gone on a Sunday afternoon and had brunch. The fritatta with mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes was delicious. Arugula salad accompanied the dish and I substituted fruit for the potates. Plenty of food. I would definitely order this item again. The food is consistently good.

   Food was great and service was good. Like this Nordstrom cafe’s food choices just a little more than at Cherry Creek Mall.

    Always enjoy the food here. However, on this particular visit, it was very odd that our server started complaining to us about another guest asking her to tell yet another table to control their crying, screaming child. The noise level was quite loud so we hadn’t really noticed the child crying, until she pointed it out and complained to us about the other table complaining to her about the child. I just really didn’t want my time with my friend interrupted with our server complaining about an experience with another table, whether it’s noise or another complaint. I was there with a friend enjoying my meal and conversation. We did not appreciate the server just randomly and rudely interrupting us to vent about her grievance with other guests. It was very negative and a real downer from the other wise very nice lunch I was having with a dear friend. This is clearly a training issue with a wait staff member……I finally had to tell her, that the child was not bothersome to us and while it was wrong for the other guest to ask her to solve the issue with a crying child, we wanted to get back to our own conversation and didn’t want to talk about it anymore. I should not have had to do that. Why would any server think we wanted to listen to any of that negativity???
