I happened to discover this place while looking up restaurants on Divisadero, and I’m surprised I hadn’t heard of it before. The food was incredibly delicious, and the drinks were excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back!

One of the few restaurants in SF open after 10:00 PM and excellent on all fronts. Highly recommend- especially if you’re hungry after your theater or symphony outing!

The food was so impressive. I love how they combine fruits in mini dishes. The service was incredible, everyone was very attentive and well coordinated

Always a great experience. The halibut crudo was to die for. Margot was an outstanding waitperson.

This is a wonderful San Francisco style local restaurant. Great food great ambience. The service was a little slow this time, but I wouldn’t call that a big problem.

I rarely write negative reviews, but our recent visit was such a letdown that it deserves mention. What used to be one of our favorite burger spots has clearly taken a turn for the worse. We waited over 1.5 hours for our food—far beyond what’s reasonable even on a busy night. When our order finally arrived, it was wrong, and it took another 25 minutes to correct it. Unfortunately, the second attempt was even more concerning: the fried chicken was undercooked, which we had to send back entirely. The burgers, which used to be reliably juicy and flavorful, were dry and overcooked, completely missing the mark. It felt like the kitchen had lost the care and quality that once made this place stand out. Between the long delays, food issues, and the overall drop in quality, the experience ruined our evening. I hope they find their way back to what made them great, but for now, I can’t recommend it.

We sat on stools facing the kitchen and prep area. It was a great way to enjoy being at NOPA.

I’ve been to your restaurant five times before and always had excellent experiences, but sadly, this visit was nothing but disappointing. Despite noting in my reservation that we were celebrating my daughter’s 22nd birthday, we were first seated at one of the worst tables right by the exit. After requesting to be moved, we were placed outside in a tent area, which felt like an afterthought. Our server was inattentive throughout the evening, never even acknowledging the special occasion. I traveled all the way from Los Angeles specifically for this dinner, but from the moment we walked in, everything went wrong. Unfortunately, this was my last visit.

Service, staff and the space were impeccable. What a great experience! The food was quality, you can tell ingredients were fresh and for the most part seasoned well. Veggies were a little too raw in the broccoli and green beans (but the hummus with the green beans? Spoon-licking material). We came for the steak but it was swapped on the menu for a brisket which was - eh? They need a little kosher salt on that guy. The gigante baked beans were legendary, I need the recipe - and the tagliatelle were cooked like my nonna from Tuscany kissed me good night before I went to bed. But $9 bread and butter and the bread was fridge temp? Minus one star just for that. I’ll definitely be back, any establishment that has that friendly of a staff and level of quality and service deserves redemption twice over.

Knocked ambience down due to noise level. Food is high quality and innovative and every dish tasted delightful.
