nopa - San Francisco
They make only 2 main plates vegetarian and the taste was not the best.
It's an ok place. Overpriced for what they serve.
And the waitress was a bit rude.
Very disappointed :/
Maybe for meat-eaters is better
Awesome food, service, and ambiance! I love the brunch menu options, especially the basic eggs and the house smoked bacon.
Cornelius took very good care of us at the bar. He is no nonsense and will openly disagree with you if your alteration to a cocktail means you’re going to miss having the best possible experience with that drink. We will be back.
Incredibly creative food preparations. Lots of healthy menu options. Nice vibe. Young and hip clientele. But SO hard to get reservations. We also like killing 2 birds with one stone by going grocery shopping at the fantastic Bi-Rite next door before dinner than taking Uber home.
Really special dinner here - every dish was delicious and the burger was really spectacular
Nopa is a classic in the Bay Area. We love coming every season to see what twist they'll do with their classic dishes and what seasonal options we'd hate to miss. Creative and comforting food in a lively environment makes Nopa a treat each visit.
Really liked it but very expensive for what it is.
The food was almost perfect. My friend and I split a little gem salad, mushroom toast (the best!), charred broccoli with anchovy and French fries. It was delicious and too much food. We had a chocolate panna cotta with grapes dessert which was strange and much better with the grapes off.
The cocktail mr pink, sounded better than it was. It tasted like grapefruit juice with a splash of vodka. Nothing complex.
I hope to go back soon.
Good sized portions. The burger was truly delicious. We mentioned it was our anniversary and they sent us a complimentary dessert, which was really above and beyond. Service was great.
Their kitchen and front of the house team consistently knock it out of the park.
I usually enjoy Nopa but couldn’t find anything I liked on their limited menu. The vegetarian option was super heavy. Bread was good !
Too loud. Food was mediocre. Wine service barely perfunctory.
Food and service were excellent! Our server brought a dessert with a candle for my son’s birthday, which made it special for him! This is the kind of service that keeps me coming back and is why NOPA has been around for so long.
This place has a cool vibe and I like the open kitchen. It is described as Californian cuisine which it is but almost all the wines were Italian which was a bit of the disappointment. The wines were also over priced.the food was excellent with local ingredients. Our server was less than enthusiastic and not attentive at all. The rest of the staff is very good. Very noisy though.
Excellent experience from the service to the food and drink. A little loud as the space itself isn’t so big, but it was incredibly enjoyable nonetheless
Nopa was a solid restaurant but overhyped. I went there for brunch and must have had expectations that were far too high! The food was pretty good - something I could have cooked myself. The service and ambiance were very fun. Maybe it's better for dinner but brunch was pretty overrated.
Food was awesome!
Brother got engaged. Celebration dinner.
Fantastic food, knowledgeable and friendly staff and a great setting and atmosphere.
Brunch was decent, certainly not the caliber I’m used to at NOPA for dinner.
Amazing food. Beautiful space
We made a reservation but got there a little early and ended up sitting at the bar to wait for our table. The bar staff were so friendly and cool that we decided to just have dinner there.
The food was beyond amazing and we can’t wait to go back as soon as possible! We shared the Warm Goat Cheese and Blackberries app, I had the steak and vegetables while she had the pasta bolognese and we split the sourdough fritters for desert. 10/10 on all fronts.
Classy and hip yet comfy joint with plenty of buzz. Loved the bar where you could eat or have a drink before table was ready. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend it. Great service too.
Loved this place!
Great food and always great service!
There were 4 of us and we've been numerous times before and the food is always great. The service very good. My only complaint was that the cocktail I ordered was very short...oddly so. For the prices, they shouldn't be stingy - error perhaps? Don't know. But we do like the restaurant and will go back. One other minor thing - the place is hopping noisy, which is fine -- but they were playing some kind of background music and the only thing you could hear was a loud thumping bass which wasn't great - detracted from the fun ambiance. Was probably a fleeting choice of music - but who needs music when it is so loud to begin with.
Enjoyed brunch with family. Everything ordered was delicious. Highly recommend for brunch!
There was a curly blonde hair in my food from the curly blonde hair waiter. He was very nice but I just pushed it to the side as I didn’t want to embarrass him or myself on my date.:( sucked. You guys should consider pulling hair back.
Great kitchen and service, serving late. Consistently, reliably wonderful. We love it!
Great food but quite noisy. Probably won’t repeat.
We had the custard french toast, a single to share, and it was perfect. I had the soft scrambled egg plate which had lovely flavors an my husband had the sausage that we both really enjoyed as well. The bloody Mary with mezcal had a nice kick to it!
I’ll be back!
Nopa has been one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco for the past few years, and after this last visit it still continues to be. The service is always excellent, and the food never disappoints. It's also a great late night dinner option, which is what we did this time. I always order the pork chop because they know how to do it right!
Just visiting San Francisco.
Had a nice experience with very tasty salmon collar bone appetizer and pork chops for my entree.
awesome of course
Wonderful food and great service!
We had brunch on a Saturday. Server had no personality. We were getting dropped on from AC unit. When we mention it to the server he looked at us as to say what do you want me to do. Final they moved us and we got a server with personality. She made our experience better. Food was good not great. Parking is a problem.
unfortunately we were sat next to a couple who appeared to be regulars where the woman had sooo much perfume on it negatively impacted our experience including altering the food flavors. Not fault of restaurant but the restaurant could’ve asked her to not eat there that night.
