nopa - San Francisco
We had the custard french toast, a single to share, and it was perfect. I had the soft scrambled egg plate which had lovely flavors an my husband had the sausage that we both really enjoyed as well. The bloody Mary with mezcal had a nice kick to it!
I’ll be back!
Just visiting San Francisco.
Had a nice experience with very tasty salmon collar bone appetizer and pork chops for my entree.
Wonderful food and great service!
We had brunch on a Saturday. Server had no personality. We were getting dropped on from AC unit. When we mention it to the server he looked at us as to say what do you want me to do. Final they moved us and we got a server with personality. She made our experience better. Food was good not great. Parking is a problem.
unfortunately we were sat next to a couple who appeared to be regulars where the woman had sooo much perfume on it negatively impacted our experience including altering the food flavors. Not fault of restaurant but the restaurant could’ve asked her to not eat there that night.
Great service at the bar!
Excellent food and service. Pork chops are amazing and salmon also is very good and tasty
Excelente comida y servicio, el horario es corto y algunos días solo cenas
Very good food in a very nice ambiance. Unfortunately it was very noicy.
We were lucky to get a table within an hour of our driving by the restaurant. The service was very good, courteous, helpful and efficient. The food was very tasty and better than we expected. The only thing is the noise level is very high and conversation can be difficult.
Best overall meal we had in SF including renowned chefs and Michelin starred restaurants! Incredible latte, cocktail, and brunch!
We were seated 15 mins after our reservation. Our server perhaps had a late nite. Food made up for all.
Waited so long to get any one pay attention to us for everything.
Not for brunch. Food was okay, but nothing I would return for.
Fun cocktails & good food. Friendly staff. However we sat for 1 hour waiting for our dinners. Server had said it may be a bit longer when we ordered but people sat after us received their food & no explanation to our table. Interesting place but not worth waiting an hour for dinner to be served.
Great night! Excellent food, great service and a buzzing ambience.
Delicious food and good service. We got an upstairs seat which was great for watching the partially open kitchen, and for people watching. The custard French toast was phenomenal and quite filling. Good drinks and coffee.
Excellent, once again! Food was sublime. Service outstanding.
My fault that I was expecting the dinner menu and reserved for brunch. Although you can tell they use really great ingredients I just thought it was mediocre. The French fries were really good though and service was great. But other than that it’s an ok for me. Will try their dinner menu though.
Great evening with my parents on our first day in SF
the service was friendly but constantly hovering and swooping and clearing. we felt really rushed and plates were taken away so early and came out so quickly that our entire dinner (drinks appetizers entrees ...) was completed in 1 hour. not a great experience for the $.
We were there for a birthday and it was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The service was great, the food was phenomenal, and it was a really lively atmosphere to be celebrating in. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody.
Seated immediately even though two of three had not arrived. Prompt and low key service throughout. Appetizers of smoked salmon and fried “little fish” were fresh, tasty and decent sized. Mains of grilled salmon and their famous pork chop were outstanding. The pork chop was moist, flavorful and nicely paired with pickled red onions and grilled vegetables. Superb wine list and a hopping environment. Nopa is still a compelling restaurant with serious food and a welcoming warmth.
It was so nice and all the food looks and tasted great!
Great place for a little family get together. We had carnivores and vegans and we all left happy.
The brunch food was amazing, particularly the french toast and the burger. Cocktail could've used an improvement, it was a bit warm to be honest. Service was excellent although servers check in with you too many times interrupting conversation. I appreciate the attentiveness, though!
Everything was wonderful except we waited 30 min between our appetizers and entrees
Loved the wood fired flavors of the hamburger and the pork chop! The noise level is quite high, so being tucked in an intimate corner was helpful.
Great food, great service!
Wonderful location, very good food and excellent service!!
Amazing food. Was not sure what the hype was about but this did not disappoint. We shared 5 appetizers and desert and every dish was delicious. Want to go back to try more and main dishes.
At the height of the brunch hours the upstairs got a little bit too loud for us to really hear what anybody - our waiter, or each others - said... "hard" surfaces (i.e. painted walls with not too many acoustic elements on the walls/roof to eat the sound) often are like this, but it can become weary after a while. Other ways a real good experience overall! Would recommend.
Brunch was amazing with the best avocado toast ever!
Nopa came highly recommended as a destination while visiting San Francisco and we had a really lovely brunch. Reservations are a must and the place was packed, but service was fast. Not the friendliest or most attentive service but they were very busy. The meal was nice overall--loved the tomato asiago lox bagel--and the brunch cocktails were a standout with fresh and inventive flavor combinations.
We had reservations and a group of 7. Everyone raves about what they ordered and no one left disappointed. I’d say that goes in the win column.
Some of the best service I’ve received in SF
Amazing Pork Chops. Duck is great too.
