We had a great meal during restaurant week!! Krysta is a very attentive and professional server. The soup, salad, and pasta dishes were terrific, as was the Tiramisu to finish.
Birthday lunch!! This place was amazing!! We loved the food especially the tomini al verde appetizer!!
Our server Sierra was excellent!
We were very pleased by the superb meal we had at Nonna Osteria. When we are back in San Antonio, we'll be back!
Absolutely PERFECT...Nona's is one of my favorite restaurants in San Antonio...My company wis from Houston, and after dinner, they said they wished Houston had a Nonas.. Always a pleasure to dine at Nonas.
Food was really great. Unfortunately, service was very impersonal and unfriendly.
Nonna’s a lovely place with delicious food, excellent drinks, and a wonderful ambiance. It’s a favorite place for my partner and I to grab an excellent meal at a beautiful location. Plus, anyone who dines at Nonna gets access to the Fairmont rooftop bar, which is a great place to enjoy a secret cocktail while admiring the downtown views of the Alamo City.
Everything about our early dinner was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant!!
Wonderful service and food and wines were delicious. We went for our anniversary dinner and would definitely return
Fabulous service and food!! We dined there twice during our week stay in San Antonio. Enjoy the upstairs bar!!
Great Friday night experience at Nonna's. Got us in a few minutes before our reservation time. Had drinks and dinner in less than an hour. Service was great and food was wonderful. Very good wine list - by the glass or bottle. We will be back soon.
Daughter in town, wanted to share the food and beautiful roof top bar. Sorry the elevator broke down and we couldn’t access but otherwise was lovely evening!
Complimentary valet parking awaits your arrival. You’re seated in a smallish dining area that feels much bigger than it is and there is plenty of non harsh natural light and when the sun goes down the lighting is soft and warm. There’s a view of the kitchen From most of the tables. The service was outstanding and so was the food(and desserts). Bradley was our server I believe and he was attentive and informative; great service. The price was absolutely fitting for how delicious and pleasant the experience was.
Wonderful atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and phenomenal service! Will be returning often!
Service and food was phenomenal. Our only complaint was that we ordered a fettuccine dish that came served in a cheese bowl and it didn’t say the cost on the menu. It ended up costing $70. Now it was extremely good I just do not believe it was worth the money. But overall an incredible place to eat and drink. Will for sure be going back.
Staff was awesome! Chris made sure our water glasses were full, Beth made a superb recommendation for a menu item and Matt also recommended a wine that paired well with our dinner and will go on our wine list.
Great food and service. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody that visits San Antonio. Will definitely go back.
Fabulous restaurant. We WILL return when in San Antonio!
Our waitress was charming and efficient. The three of us were not impressed with the meal. Too much
The excellent service that Leslie gave us along with her menu suggestions was spot on!
The food was superior!
Looking forward to our next visit!
Excellent food and service
The food is great and the service is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive.
My boyfriend and I have been here twice and both times have been absolutely phenomenal service and food. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts and drinks all for under $100. Our waiter Jose was extremely kind and attentive, even when the restaurant was busy. We brag about the food to all of our family and friends constantly. I can confidently say this is our favorite restaurant in town. Thank you for everything !!!!!!!! We are already planning our next date night here
Food was terrible. 3 pasta main courses had no flavor. Service also abysmal: it took over 1 hour to get entrees, on a Wednesday.
Such a wonderful experience!
Great food and service, had a wonderful and enjoyable meal. Will be back
Never disappoints. The new summer menu is fantastic. Gnocchi was absolutely superb. Matt, the resident sommelier, delivered with unfindable gems from niche Italian winemakers. Best dining experience in San Antonio.
Server seemed saccharine, insincere. Food was overpriced for the portions served. The food overall was very good.
Really good service, great food, was a little loud for a date but still good atmosphere.
Our service is always wonderful. The food and wine are good also. The new additions tp the menu are a plus and we tried some last night. You cannot have a restaurant without a good fish option or two.
We are also waiting for the oyster bar upstairs to open.
Before our arrival to our reservation, I called the manager to inform them that our reservation was a business meeting that was planned since our colleague was initially traveling on a business trip to Itay but due to circumstances, her trip to Itay was canceled and instead she was requested to travel to San Antonio for a conference. She was disappointed, to say the least, but to lift her spirits we schedule a business meal at Nonna Osteria for an 'Almost Italy' dinner. The wonderful manager recommended dishes and a dessert sampler with 'Almost Italy' written on the plate.
Nonna Osteria did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed each dish presented. Our entire group was in awe with each selection we made. The shaved truffles in the tartfo were AMAZING! Our group confirmed that this was the best Italian food we have ever eaten. Who would have thought San Antonio would be home to this Italian gem? I have done nothing but recommend Nonna Osteria to our colleagues for upcoming trips. Nonna Osteria has turned into a 'MUST' on our restaurant list for San Antonio.
The staff was nothing less of excellent. They were informed of our guest of honor and made her feel so special, even to the detail of where she should sit to see the kitchen prepare the food. The chief came out to greet our group and tell us about his home town in Italy. Nonna Osteria you definitely went over and above our expectations and now you will forever have life long groupies when we're in San Antonio.
BRAVO to the entire team!!
Excellent as always!!!
We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary.
Immediately the hostess recognized our name and congratulated us. Our server did as well. After a wonderful meal we were treated to s glass of Prosecco and the chef made us a special dessert. The chef then came to our table to give us his best wishes.
For us this was a throw back to the way things should be done.
From the minute we arrived until the moment we left we felt special.
No vegetarian options, shrimp risotto had barely any shrimp and they were chopped in, no bolognese option without pork
Excellent food and service.
It was delicious and we we will be back!
The noise level dampens conversation at your table, especially when there are large groups nearby.
I had the shrimp risotto, which had one cut up shrimp and maybe two asperges spears mixed in the risotto, disappointing.
The highlight was visiting the rooftop bar afterwards, which is spacious and has fabulous views of the city.
One of the absolute best eating experiences in San Antonio. Food is authentic Italian, wine list expansive and fun, staff are pros, and atmosphere is both warm and full of energy.
We had a wonderful meal, guided by our server Haley. She knew how to help with Gluten Free options, helped us select our bottle of wine and described dishes to us to help us with our entree selections.
She was a wonderful server and made our evening out a memorable one. Next time we're in San Antonio we will be sure to visit Nonna Osteria again! Thank you so much Haley!
Wonderful on everything
