Diego is just wonderful. His level of service is just grand.
Luis and Felix are awesome
NoMi not ready for action. In these early days of re-opening after COVID it’s interesting and surprising to see who has their act together and who doesn’t. Unfortunately NoMI was in the latter category Saturday 4th when we visited for brunch. Extremely limited menu with just the basics - bears no resemblance to what’s posted online so forget about that. Main problem was the service which was chronically slow. I was served cutlery and napkin in sealed plastic - nice touch except for the fact that the knife inside was dirty... Food was tasty but by the time it arrived I was ready to leave. Will not return for a while - they need to get more serious about offering Park Hyatt level service first...
Servies was way too bad, but the location is a still nice.
The rooftop terrace is beautiful! Such a gorgeous retreat in the city! Felt very safe-the napkins came in plastic wrapping and the servers wore masks & gloves. Delicious food in a wonderful environment!
The service staff, Mohammed and Amador, were excellent. The food was delicious for an excellent dining experience.
I really loved everything about this place, from the view to the service and food. Had a great dining experience 🍽👍
Our server (Michael?) was excellent - knowledgeable, fun and funny. Thank you!
From start to finish, NoMi delivered a truly special dinner and experience! The bonus is the amazing view of Michigan Avenue and Watertown!
Excellent food, service and amazing view! Always an exceptional experience when dining at NoMi!
Best dinner of a four night’s stay in Chicago...and we went to some top-tier places.
Loved the ambience, loved the service, loved the location. However, although the food was delicious...but the portions were WAY too small and the prices where high.
Loveddd our experience! Food was excellent—we got the New York filet. Service was fantastic and just our overall experience was great. Will definitely be going again!
Highlight of the wonderful Valentine's Day memory ever!
NoMi did not disappoint with excellent food and views and an atmosphere of Love
Thank you to the staff and Diego
Outstanding experience! Highly Recommend!
We love this restaurant!
We had a great experience. Nice wait staff, great food.
Delicious sushi 🍣 as always. Ty❤️❤️❤️
Lunch at NoMi was fairly disappointing. We had 2 sushi rolls, both seemed fresh enough, but were completely tasteless, skimpy on avocado, and the tempura in one felt like it was days old. Rice and fish not seasoned. Our steak frites came pre sliced & undercooked, with a salad on the same hot plate as meat and fries, which I always find off-putting. Service was fantastic, view beautiful, but leaving there at more than $100 per person for lunch, the food should be excellent and it most definitely was not.
Food was unmemorable, which is very disappointing given the price point. Would not go back in the future.
Everything was great!
Service was great
It was amazing !
The room is lovely--elegant but not stuffy. The meal starts with a complementary aperitif that is a nice touch. The shrimp beignets appetizer was ample but a bit tasteless. The maki appetizer was flavorful and accompanied with ample sauce. Chateubriand entree was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful as were the accompanying potatoe crquettes. This was a restaurant week special deal and when looking over the regular menu, it and the wine list are exceptionally overpriced. We were charged $22 for a martini!
Wait until next year to go on a special deal--would not be worth it otherwise.
Always a great experience. Delicious & fresh sushi. Tom was great
The customer service at this place is astoundingly bad. They do not answer the phone and require you to leave messages that they don’t return. Now for the actual ambiance, you get off an elevator and into a space with no seating and one of the worst host stands I have ever seen. For a high end hotel, this is beyond subpar and needs to be drastically changed. The layout is confusing, the food leaves you hungry and wondering what you paid so much for. This is a classic tourist trap Michigan Ave location that has no business being in business. There are so many more cost effective options within a couple of blocks that this should be the last spot you pick in this area.
Great experience for a group of out of town guests. We were seated by the window which was awesome. I ate from the restaurant week menu and it was an excellent value. Entrees were excellent but sides could have been better. Everything else was wonderful.
We were given royal treatment by the excellent staff; the food was delicious.
Had so much fun!
The food was excellent. The selection of wines appealed to all guests. The service was excellent and the staff was very helpful.
Food was good. Some of the food came out luke warm.
If going sit by the window as the rest of the restaurant seemed dated. Very limited menu.
We were at restaurant week for dinner. The setting was nice, the service was excellent and the noise level quiet. The food was not up to par. The sushi roll was good. The beignets had no taste. The fish had no taste or texture. The chocolate dessert was excellent. The apple, not good. Dry. We will not return.
Such a wonderful restaurant and what VIEWS! The nicest waitresses and waiters in town and so attentive!
Every thing perfect as always
Excellent service and customer awareness
I had the salmon with mashed potato’s it was good but salmon was a bit on the salty side.
Only the atmosphere.Staff was not special and food was not even average.
We came to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time. Our waiter Michael Kelly set the mood for a fun evening. He was friendly and patient and definitely understood it was a special occasion. We both ordered from the Chicago Restaurant week menu which offered tempting choices for every course.
The shrimp tempura maki roll was fresh and delicious. Quite a generous appetizer for one person! My friend had the onion soup which was totally different from others I’ve had. Kind of an upside down version so it wasn’t blanketed in cheese. But very tasty.
For entrees we both ordered salmon which was cooked exactly as we ordered. Very fresh, and delicious. Finally, my favorite course, dessert. We had the chocolate mousse which was rich, and included tiny beignets and dollops of caramel. Devine!
I love this place!
Service for such an upscale place left a little to be desired. Maybe because it was clear we were there for restaurant week, as this was the first thing the hostess asked, definitely distinguishing between their regulars and interlopers. The waiter did not shed any light on the menu items. Busboys were attentive and view was lovely. Dessert was particularly outstanding.
