Located in the heart of the South 1st district, Nomade is a Yucatecan kitchen celebrating fresh coastal seafood, artisanal spices from Merida, and wood-fired cooking. From the team behind Lucky Robot, Chef Jay and restaurateur Adam Weisberg share their experiences in the region and hope to transport you to the lush jungles of the Yucatán.

Heirloom masa, sustainably caught seafood, and artisanal spices are used to create traditional and contemporary Yucatecan dishes. Our bar features a collection of additive free agave spirits and a Latin inspired wine list. Additionally, we are a 100% gluten-free restaurant, seed oil free, and offer an extensive plant-based menu.

    Everything about our visit was exceptional! The food was amazing — so many wonderful flavors blended into the recipes. We especially appreciated that all of the food is cooked without seed oils.

    Most of the seating is outdoors. The ambience is just incredible. It felt like we were on a tropical island. The only complaint is the flies are very persistent. Especially after the food arrives.

    Experience was great!!! The waiter assigned to us was not very attentive and we did have to flag them down several times. But overall great experience!

    They have a really great menu all gluten free and lots of plant based food options!! Great cocktails and atmosphere too. Would definitely recommend

    Food was amazing! Taco tasting were lil bites of heaven and the octopus was cooked to perfection. Our server, Ted, was very friendly and attentive. He gave great recommendations and we enjoyed them all. Will be back! Thank u for an amazing Friday nite dinner.

    We heard great things, it still exceeded our expectations. The service and the staff should be the envy of the Austin restaurant community. Incredible. And every plate was amazing. We wanted to pick a favorite, simply couldn’t. Definitely going back. The acoustics in the dining room were a bit of a challenge once the room filled in. Not ideal, but for that experience it’s worth repeat visits.

    Food was OK. I love that they're gluten free and don't use any seed oils. Would only go back to try their brunch menu but this place was mostly hype imo.

    The experience with Nomade was quite disappointing. -the cocktails were basically juice, so we ordered wine at it still tasted horrible - the food was super low quality. They tried to make it tasty by various sauces but still nothing special - the noise level was horrible. Also no music. - I have noted in my reservation that we're celebrating my friend's bday. When I checked in with the hostess upon arrival she mentioned it. But then after our meal, they brought us the check without even bringing any sweets. Any high end restaurant at that price range would do this. Basic customer service. We will not be back!
