Restaurant is at a great venue. We loved staying at the Origin. The food and drinks were great. They were out of tortilla chips, which is sort of different for a Mexican restaurant. Our server was only mediocre. He did not go above and beyond by any means. When we had traveled across states for a special trip, he did not really make this experience special for us in any way. it was a bummer that our server sort of ruined the experience.

Food was good, service good as well, no one was there, it was snowing and traffic was horrible, so it was expected. I will go back when weather is better.

Though it was super convenient for Nomad to be inside of the Red Rocks hotel, we weren't necessarily impressed with the service. We had made a reservation for 5pm, to eat before leaving for a show, but there was no host to even check us in or acknowledge that. We seated ourselves but overall, it just seemed really unorganized. There were probably 3 total tables, sitting, but the waiter couldn't really keep up. The ambience and our food was good, though.

After waiting 5 minutes to check-in for our reservation, a very busy looking server told us to sit anywhere. We sat for another 10 and were never waited on. It appeared there was 1 server for the entire restaurant on a Friday night. That poor person was (apparently) also bartender, and busser. We decided to leave instead of trying to make it work.

This restaurant has so much potential, but the night we were there it did not reach expectations. We were a party of 9 that made the reservation in advance. Arrived and our table was not set, and they were not ready for us. They have a "seat yourself" sign and we had to actively look for someone to find our reserved table. Turns out there were two other large parties and not enough staff to effectively serve everyone, which included several other tables of 3 to 4 people. Our waitress was friendly and worked very hard to accommodate our order, but one appetizer was missed (simple one-chips and salsas), and one appetizer was overcooked (Brussel sprouts). The main courses were very delicious, but the rice was crunchy and undercooked. The cocktails were good- but since the server was over committed with too many large parties, delivery was slow. The flourless chocolate cake was FANTASTIC! The blueberry dulce de leche was not. The overall price seemed high given the situation. We were eagerly anticipating the meal based on the menu but left disappointed. Since there is so much potential, I would still recommend

The place was cool- we liked the look but everything else was a little less than expected. Food was okay. Service was okay (and there weren’t a lot of people in the restaurant), and drinks were okay.
