Our story starts with a district in Lower Manhattan - “North of Little Italy”. Bursting with small eateries and tons of local flavor, every shop in NoLita did something different and did it with passion and excellent craftsmanship. We took that inspiration and distilled the best of it into Nolita Ristorante, a modern, upscale dining experience in East Hartford, CT. Here, we honor the farm-to-table tradition by using locally sourced meats and produce to create Italian dishes with an innovative spin. Enjoy our extensive craft beer selection at our contemporary bar - we have 24 taps as well as a myriad of speciality craft cocktails.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Booked on open table to bring wife, son and 4 college student friends; Drove up and saw it was attached to a hotel that is second tier. Arrived at 5:30 to a dark empty restaurant and our skepticism was pretty high. 1st drink order took a long time and skepticism was even higher. Went amazingly better thereafter - drinks were solid, ordered a variety of appetizers all of which were excellent and a variety of main courses all of which were excellent. Presentation and food quality was top notch. Turned out to be a great experience.

The location is adjacent to the Comfort Inn and just a few steps from the front door of the hotel. The Food was very good Italian cuisine. The house sauce is nicely balanced and the pasta is nicely done. The portions are more than adequate and service was very attentive. recommend getting a table as the booths are a bit tight. Also recommend the spinach as a side vegetable, the best I've ever had.

They said restaurant is close for lunch today and only bar is open. It was waste of time to go there from work.

Having gluten free options is a big plus. Fresh pasta made on site was delicious. We will be back!

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Had lunch reservations for 7 to 10 people. Made the reservations because service can be slow based on previous infrequent occasions. The food on these occasions was always very good. After we ordered drinks we were told that we would have to wait 1.5 to 2 hours for service because the kitchen prioritizes take out orders and they were swamped. We left. I am glad the restaurant is doing so well but since I don't use it for take out it is my last visit.

Food was good at a good price. If you are looking for a low budget meal that gets served to you by waitresses this is the place. Do not go here for date night. Restaurant was very clean but is badly in need of updating.
